     Noble Collins Gowdy was born on 9 January 1810.¹ He was the son of Alexander Gowdy and Bethia Noble.¹ Noble Collins Gowdy died on 11 October 1848 at Collinsville, Canton, CT, at age 38.¹

Noble Collins was a farmer, clothier, and axe-maker.²

     James Harper Gowdy was born on 1 October 1813.¹ He was the son of Alexander Gowdy and Bethia Noble.¹ James Harper Gowdy died on 6 July 1840 at Feeding Hills, MA, at age 26.¹

James was a grocier in Hartford, CT.²

     Martin Strong Gowdy was born on 7 September 1815.² He was the son of Alexander Gowdy and Bethia Noble.¹

     Porter Eli Gowdy was born on 6 December 1817.¹ He was the son of Alexander Gowdy and Bethia Noble.¹

     Salome Bethia Gowdy was born on 18 May 1820.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Gowdy and Bethia Noble.¹ Salome Bethia Gowdy died on 3 January 1876 at Chicopee, MA, at age 55.¹

     Amanda Gowdy was born on 27 April 1822.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Gowdy and Bethia Noble.¹ Amanda Gowdy married Lucius Phelps Bishop on 3 November 1842.¹

Lucius was a farmer and mechanic in russell, MA, until 1 Jan 1854 when he removed to Hartford, CT. Amanda resides 1876, in Holyoke, MA.²

     Lucius Phelps Bishop was born say 1820.¹ He married Amanda Gowdy, daughter of Alexander Gowdy and Bethia Noble, on 3 November 1842.¹ Lucius Phelps Bishop died on 15 January 1854.¹

     Huldah Keep was the daughter of Sylvanus Keep.¹ Huldah Keep married Silas Noble, son of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger.¹ Huldah Keep died at West Granville, MA.¹

     Abigail Pinney was born on 26 November 1654 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Humphrey Pinney and Mary Hull.

     Mary Pinney was baptized on 16 June 1644 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Humphrey Pinney and Mary Hull.

     John Pinney was baptized on 19 October 1651 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Humphrey Pinney and Mary Hull.

     Malantha Noble was born on 28 December 1817.¹ She was the daughter of Silas Noble and Huldah Keep.¹

     Lucinda A. Ripley was born on 30 November 1844.¹ She was the daughter of Frederic A. Ripley and Malantha Noble.¹

     Mary Ripley was born on 28 February 1849.¹ She was the daughter of Frederic A. Ripley and Malantha Noble.¹

     Chester Holcombe was born on 16 October 1822 at Canaan, Litchfield Co., CT.¹ He was the son of David Holcombe and Sarah Tubbs. Chester Holcombe married Mary Higley, daughter of Simeon Higley and Wealthy Noble, on 18 May 1847.²

Chester and Mary are 5th cousins.

     Simeon Higley was born on 17 October 1786 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Simeon Higley and Margaret Phelps.¹ Simeon Higley married Wealthy Noble, daughter of Matthew Noble and Elizabeth Ensign, on 20 February 1822.¹ Simeon Higley died on 1 December 1871 at Canaan, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 85.¹

     Wealthy Noble was born on 7 February 1794 at Sheffield, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Matthew Noble and Elizabeth Ensign.^2,3 Wealthy Noble married Simeon Higley, son of Simeon Higley and Margaret Phelps, on 20 February 1822.¹

     Mary Higley was born on 20 July 1826.¹ She was the daughter of Simeon Higley and Wealthy Noble.¹ Mary Higley married Chester Holcombe, son of David Holcombe and Sarah Tubbs, on 18 May 1847.¹

     Matthew Noble was born on 20 July 1753 at Sheffield, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Constantine Noble and Elizabeth Hogaboom.² Matthew Noble married Elizabeth Ensign, daughter of Elisha Ensign and Elizabeth Sedgwick.³ Matthew Noble died in October 1806 at Sheffield, Berkshire Co., MA, at age 53.¹

     Elizabeth Ensign was born on 24 May 1756 at Canaan, Litchfield Co., CT.^1,2 She was the daughter of Elisha Ensign and Elizabeth Sedgwick.³ Elizabeth Ensign married Matthew Noble, son of Constantine Noble and Elizabeth Hogaboom.¹ Elizabeth Ensign died on 1 April 1849 at South Canaan, CT, at age 92.¹

     Elisha Ensign was born on 29 December 1729.¹ He was the son of John Ensign and Elizabeth Dickenson. Elisha Ensign married Elizabeth Sedgwick.¹ Elisha Ensign died on 16 May 1808 at Sheffield, Berkshire Co., MA, at age 78.¹

     Elizabeth Sedgwick was born on 17 June 1731.¹ She married Elisha Ensign, son of John Ensign and Elizabeth Dickenson.¹ Elizabeth Sedgwick died on 26 September 1795 at age 64.¹

     Constantine Noble was born on 8 October 1725 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Ens. Matthew Noble and Joanna Stebbins. Constantine Noble died at Sheffield, Berkshire Co., MA.¹

     Abigail Noble was born on 25 July 1820.¹ She was the daughter of Silas Noble and Huldah Keep.¹

     Silas Lorenzo Ripley was born on 25 September 1848.¹ He was the son of James D. Ripley and Abigail Noble.¹

     Minerva Noble was born on 7 March 1826.¹ She was the daughter of Silas Noble and Huldah Keep.¹ Minerva Noble died on 27 October 1829 at age 3.¹

     Lorenzo Noble was born on 22 November 1830.¹ He was the son of Silas Noble and Huldah Keep.¹ Lorenzo Noble lived in 1877 at East Granville, MA; a farmer.¹

     Roxa Frost was born on 17 February 1796.¹ She was the daughter of David Frost.¹ Roxa Frost married Roland Noble, son of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger, on 2 October 1817.¹

     Eunice Granger was born in 1811.² She was the daughter of Holcombe Granger and Lydia Baker.² Eunice Granger lived at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She married Roland Noble, son of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger, on 16 December 1845.¹

     Wealthy Frost Noble was born on 7 July 1818.¹ She was the daughter of Roland Noble and Roxa Frost.¹ Wealthy Frost Noble died on 17 April 1842 at age 23; no issue.¹

     Lucinda Ardelia Noble was born on 14 July 1820.¹ She was the daughter of Roland Noble and Roxa Frost.¹ Lucinda Ardelia Noble died on 17 July 1841 at age 21.¹

     Edwin Charles Noble was born on 14 October 1828 at Granville, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Roland Noble and Roxa Frost.¹

     Cynthia Gowdy was born on 18 April 1800 at Russell, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Gowdy and Hannah McGregory.¹ Cynthia Gowdy married Reuben Noble, son of Silas Noble Jr. and Lucy Granger, on 27 January 1820.¹

     Alexander Gowdy was born on 19 January 1762 at Enfield, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He married Hannah McGregory.¹ Alexander Gowdy died on 12 May 1826 at Russell, Hampden Co., MA, at age 64.¹

     Hannah McGregory was born on 3 February 1760 at Somers, CT.¹ She married Alexander Gowdy.¹ Hannah McGregory died on 3 September 1837 at Enfield, Hartford Co., CT, at age 77.¹

     Orville Noble was born on 2 January 1821 at Russell, Hampden Co., MA.² He was the son of Reuben Noble and Cynthia Gowdy.¹ Orville Noble lived in 1876 at Urbana, Champaign Co., OH.²

Orville removed, in apr., 1855, from Granville, Mass., to Urbana, O. For several years he was engaged in raising garden seed, but is now, 1878, a broker.³
