     George worked for the Bureau fo Standards and was an authority on storage batteries. They resided in Washington, DC, then retired to Shelter harbor, RI. George Wood Merwin Vinal was born on 17 December 1882 at Ellington, CT. He was the son of Washington Irving Vinal and Emily Merwin Wood. George Wood Merwin Vinal was graduated in 1906 at AB; Wesleyan University, Middletown, Middlesex Co., CT. He married Grace Gertrude Fiegenbaum on 19 November 1913. George Wood Merwin Vinal died in April 1969 at age 86.

     Mary Wadsworth Norton was born at Eastport, ME. She married Brig. Gen. Oliver Ellsworth Wood, son of Rev. George Ingersoll Wood and Susan Townsend Merwin, on 3 June 1873. Mary Wadsworth Norton died on 27 December 1931.

     Donna Siemiatkoski cites an obituary in the New London Day, 19 march 1976; Harriet Ellsworth Siebert; LTC Oliver ellsworth Woor, Sr; and Oliver Ellsworth Wood, Jr. Norton Ellsworth Wood was born on 26 December 1876. He was the son of Brig. Gen. Oliver Ellsworth Wood and Mary Wadsworth Norton. Norton Ellsworth Wood was graduated in 1900 at Architecture; Columbia University, New York. He married Emily Chapin Coye on 5 August 1914 at New York City, NY. Norton Ellsworth Wood died on 7 February 1936 at Glen Ridge, NJ, at age 59. He was buried in 1936 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.

Helen Elizabeth Crane married Clarence James on 28 October 1948. Helen Elizabeth Crane died on 12 September 1985 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA, at age 61.¹

     Clarence James was born on 19 April 1925.¹ He married Helen Elizabeth Crane, daughter of Clarence Crane and Edith Elizabeth Holcombe, on 28 October 1948. Clarence James died on 30 August 1986 at Farmington, Hartford Co., CT, at age 61.¹

Frank Chamberlain Porter was CHURCH MEMBERSHIP on 3 January 1892 at New Haven First Church, New Haven, New Haven Co., CT.

     Died unmarried. Lyman Edwards Porter was born on 7 November 1893. He was the son of Frank Chamberlain Porter and Delia Wood Lyman. Lyman Edwards Porter died in March 1975 at Concord, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 81.

Bessie Lawrence Barnes married William Richard Watson, son of Robert Watson and Mehitabel Winkley Furber. Bessie Lawrence Barnes died in 1922.

     William Richard Watson was born on 23 July 1867 at Cottage Grove, MN. He was the son of Robert Watson and Mehitabel Winkley Furber. William Richard Watson married Bessie Lawrence Barnes, daughter of Phineas Barnes and Fanny Ellsworth Wood. William Richard Watson died on 6 January 1926 at Automobile Accident at age 58.

     Augustus Julian Lyman was the son of Rt. Rev. Theodore Benedict Lyman and Ann Margaret Albert. Augustus Julian Lyman married Julia Sterling Ellsworth, daughter of Dr. Pinckney Webster Ellsworth and Julia Townsend Dow, on 21 December 1882 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT. Augustus Julian Lyman lived at Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC. He died on 5 February 1940. He was buried at Milan, Italy.

     Ellsworth Lyman was born on 5 May 1890 at Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC. He was the son of Augustus Julian Lyman and Julia Sterling Ellsworth. Ellsworth Lyman married Gwendolyne Meldrum Rutherfoord, daughter of Thomas Meldrum Rutherfoord and Laura Whalen Thomas, on 24 April 1918. Ellsworth Lyman died in July 1978 at Fall, Biltmore Forest, NC, at age 88.

     Gwendolyne Meldrum Rutherfoord was born on 1 April 1890 at Richmond, VA. She was the daughter of Thomas Meldrum Rutherfoord and Laura Whalen Thomas. Gwendolyne Meldrum Rutherfoord married Ellsworth Lyman, son of Augustus Julian Lyman and Julia Sterling Ellsworth, on 24 April 1918. Gwendolyne Meldrum Rutherfoord died in 1970.

     Rud graduated from Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, CT, and attended the Warton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He was on the Junion Davis Cup Tennis Team. He was a Major in the Army in World War II, serving at Fort Benning, GA, and Manila, and was at Fort Benning in the Korean War. He was the North Carolina Regional Manager for North Carolina Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 35 years.

Sally was very active in the Trinity Episcopal Church, served as President of the Junior League, and volunteers several days per week with hospice. Ellsworth Rutherfoord Lyman was born on 30 October 1922 at Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC. He was the son of Ellsworth Lyman and Gwendolyne Meldrum Rutherfoord. Ellsworth Rutherfoord Lyman died on 1 October 1989 at Cancer, Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC, at age 66.
