     Rev. Wiliam Case was born on 25 April 1794 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of William Robe Case and Huldah Loomis.¹ Rev. Wiliam Case married Chloe Stoughton, daughter of Samuel Stoughton and Chloe Gillette, on 2 December 1824 at Wintonbury Church, Wintonbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Rev. Wiliam Case died on 28 April 1858 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT, at age 64.¹ He was buried at Center Cemetery, South Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Chloe Stoughton was born on 11 July 1797 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Stoughton and Chloe Gillette.¹ Chloe Stoughton married Rev. Wiliam Case, son of William Robe Case and Huldah Loomis, on 2 December 1824 at Wintonbury Church, Wintonbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Chloe Stoughton died on 10 August 1840 at South Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 43.¹ She was buried at Center Cemetery, South Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     William Chester Case was born on 26 February 1837 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Rev. Wiliam Case and Chloe Stoughton.¹

William served as a private, Company H., 16th Regiment, Connecticut Volunteers. He enlisted 25 August 1862; mustered 25 August 1862; and was discharged with disability 16 June 1865. Given these dates, he must have served at Antietam.

     Albert Cook Loomis was born on 14 September 1843.¹ He was the son of Chauncey Loomis and Prudence Cook.² Albert Cook Loomis married Harriet Johnson on 17 May 1884.¹

Albert was a private, Company K, 16th Regiment, Connecticut Volunteers. He enlisted 23 August, 1862, mustered 24 August 1862, and transferred out 20 February 1864.

     Harriet Johnson died.¹ She married Albert Cook Loomis, son of Chauncey Loomis and Prudence Cook, on 17 May 1884.¹

     Chauncey Loomis was born on 30 August 1805 at CT.¹ He was the son of Ariel Loomis and Ruth Carpenter.² Chauncey Loomis died on 5 May 1874 at Baltimore, MD, at age 68.¹

     Ariel Loomis was born on 22 January 1779 at CT.¹ He was the son of Lt. Daniel Loomis and Sarah Wells Field.² Ariel Loomis married Ruth Carpenter on 27 October 1801.¹ Ariel Loomis died on 24 August 1827 at Tolland, Tolland Co., CT, at age 48.¹

     Ruth Carpenter married Ariel Loomis, son of Lt. Daniel Loomis and Sarah Wells Field, on 27 October 1801.¹ Ruth Carpenter died on 20 November 1858.¹

     Lt. Daniel Loomis was born on 22 January 1758 at Lebanon, New London Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Timothy Loomis and Anna Taylor.² Lt. Daniel Loomis married Sarah Wells Field, daughter of Daniel Field and Sarah Wells, on 22 November 1774.¹ Lt. Daniel Loomis died on 22 August 1841 at age 83.¹

Dan served in the Revolutionary War, first under Capt. William Wilson, 1776, and Col. Israel Putnam. He was in the battles of Stillwater and Saratoga, being a witness of Burgoyne's surrender. In 1777 he re-enlisted in Co. of Light Horse under Capt. Joel Loomis.³

     Sarah Wells Field was born on 15 January 1755.¹ She was the daughter of Daniel Field and Sarah Wells.¹ Sarah Wells Field married Lt. Daniel Loomis, son of Timothy Loomis and Anna Taylor, on 22 November 1774.¹ Sarah Wells Field died on 16 January 1849 at age 94.¹

     Mildred B. Switzer was born on 27 August 1897 at Lawndale, Pratt Co, KS. She married Richard Edwin Coleman, son of William Samuel Coleman and Josephine Victoria Vandolah, on 16 June 1921 at Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS. Mildred B. Switzer died on 12 July 1987 at Larned, Pawnee Co, KS, at age 89.

     Albert Goertzen was buried at Larned, Pawnee Co, KS. He was born on 12 August 1924 at Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS. He died on 10 January 1981 at Larned, Pawnee Co, KS, at age 56.

     Anna Taylor married Timothy Loomis, son of Ensign John Loomis and Martha Osborne.¹ Anna Taylor died on 7 March 1799.¹
