     James Gilbert Thacher was born on 13 July 1834 at Litchfield, Medina Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Buckley Thacher and Emerancy Culver.¹ James Gilbert Thacher married Eliza Whiting Nickerson, daughter of Hiram Chruchill Nickerson and Hannah Whiting Nash, on 4 February 1857 at Litchfield, Medina Co., OH. James Gilbert Thacher died on 30 March 1900 at Chatham, Medina Co., OH, at age 65.¹

     George Edward Thacher was born on 3 April 1839 or 3 April 1840.¹ He was the son of Buckley Thacher and Emerancy Culver.¹ George Edward Thacher died on 9 July 1840 at Litchfield, Medina Co., OH.¹

Simon's parents were from Schoharie Co., NY and Litchfield, OH. Martha Aurilla Thacher was born on 27 July 1841 or 27 July 1842 at Litchfield, Medina Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Buckley Thacher and Emerancy Culver.¹ Martha Aurilla Thacher married Simon Veeder Seeley, son of Thomas Sweetman Seeley and Margaret Ann Veeder, on 11 November 1866 at Litchfield, Medina Co., OH. Martha Aurilla Thacher died on 2 January 1879 at Kearney, Kearney Co., NE.¹

     Frank and Sarah lived successively at Brownhelm, Oberlin, and Mt. Vernon, OH; Chicago, IL, and at "Maplehurst," Mt. Vernon, OH. Frank's parents were from Stockbridge, MA, and Brownhelm, OH. Frank was President of the C. and G. Cooper Co., manufacturers of Corliss Engines and heavy steam plants. Sarah Emeline Thacher was born on 2 January 1844 or 3 January 1844 at Litchfield, Medina Co., OH. She was the daughter of Buckley Thacher and Emerancy Culver. Sarah Emeline Thacher married Frank Louis Fairchild, son of Charles Grandison Fairchild and Emily Culver, on 14 September 1871 at Detroit, Wayne Co., MI.

     Abigail was still living, unmarried, at Oberlin, OH, on 1 January 1906. Abigail Antonette Thacher was born on 11 April 1846. She was the daughter of Buckley Thacher and Emerancy Culver.

     Charles Phelps Thacher was also known as Charles Phelps Thatcher. He was born on 7 March 1848 at Litchfield, Medina Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Buckley Thacher and Emerancy Culver.¹ Charles Phelps Thacher married Lida Emma Packard, daughter of Jonathan Packard and Elizabeth Bisbee, on 12 September 1871 at Chatham, Medina Co., OH. Charles Phelps Thacher married Lora Esther Davis, daughter of Percy Terry Davis and Esther Rathbon, on 16 June 1888 at Gibbon, Buffalo Co., NE. Charles Phelps Thacher died on 24 November 1901 at Gibbon, Buffalo Co., NE, at age 53.¹ He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Gibbon, Buffalo Co., NE.

     Timothy was a farmer and a manufacturer of cheese. Timothy Dwight Thacher was born on 2 March 1850 at Litchfield, Medina Co., OH.² He was the son of Buckley Thacher and Emerancy Culver.² Timothy Dwight Thacher married Flora Blanchard, daughter of Warren William Blanchard and Mary Hunt, on 2 August 1870 or 4 August 1870 at Litchfield, Medina Co., OH. Timothy Dwight Thacher died on 13 April 1902 at Shelton, Buffalo Co., NE, at age 52.²

     Seth Dickinson Graves was born on 10 July 1801 at Norwich, MA.¹ He married Adah Eells Thacher, daughter of Timothy Thacher and Dorothy Phelps, on 10 December 1833 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ Seth Dickinson Graves died on 30 July 1873 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT, at age 72.¹

     Miles was Treasurer of the State Savings Bank of Hartford, Conn., and one of the most widely known fincancial men in Hartford; he was a Director of the Connecticut River Company; a Director in the Connecticut Riber Banking Company and a Director in the Billings and Spencer Company. He acted as executor, administrator or trustee of many estates, his services being frequently in demand in such capacity owing to his reputation for exactness and unswerving integrity. He was one of the foremost Masons in Connecticut. He was an antiquarian and had made a study of Mexican antiquities and was also a zealous and expert genealogist to whom the complier of these notes is much indebted for assistance in solving many genealogical problems of difficult character in this elaboration of the Thacher genealogy. Thacher. Miles Wells Graves was born on 29 November 1834 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Seth Dickinson Graves and Adah Eells Thacher.¹ Miles Wells Graves died on 13 December 1906 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT, at age 72.¹

     Emma Eliza Graves was born on 7 July 1845 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA. She was the daughter of Seth Dickinson Graves and Adah Eells Thacher. Emma Eliza Graves married George Frederick Washburn, son of Frederick Washburn and Harriet Sears, on 8 December 1869 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA. Emma Eliza Graves died on 26 March 1897 at Hillsdale, Hillsdale Co., MI, at age 51. She was buried at Lenox, Berkshire Co., MA.

     Emeline Gale was born on 9 May 1808 at Hadley, Hampshire Co., MA. She was the daughter of Levi Gale and Hannah Dickenson. Emeline Gale Thacher was born on 13 May 1840 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Eliel Tobey Thacher and Emeline Gale.¹ Emeline Gale Thacher married James Manassah Fuarey, son of Andrew Fuarey and Lydia Slaughter, on 8 February 1872 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.

     John Sears was born on 3 December 1812 or 3 December 1813 at Lenox, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Zachariah Sears and Almira Butler. John Sears married Martha Thacher, daughter of Timothy Thacher and Dorothy Phelps, on 10 February 1837 or 16 February 1837 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ John Sears died on 15 August 1887 at Litchfield, Medina Co., OH.¹
