     Alexander Allyn Jr. was born on 9 September 1695.¹ He was the son of Alexander Allyn and Mary Grant.² Alexander Allyn Jr. married Hannah Marshall on 17 March 1716.¹ Alexander Allyn Jr. died on 2 April 1742 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 46.¹

     Hannah Marshall was born on 16 April 1695.¹ She married Alexander Allyn Jr., son of Alexander Allyn and Mary Grant, on 17 March 1716.¹ Hannah Marshall died on 30 November 1772 at age 77.¹

     Abigail Allyn was born on 4 February 1716/17.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Allyn Jr. and Hannah Marshall.¹ Abigail Allyn died on 20 September 1719 at age 2; "being scalded to death by running backwards into a kettle of hot water."¹

     Alexander Allyn III was born on 25 December 1718.¹ He was the son of Alexander Allyn Jr. and Hannah Marshall.¹ Alexander Allyn III married Hannah Ellsworth, daughter of Jonathan Ellsworth and Sarah Grant, on 28 April 1743. Alexander Allyn III died on 3 March 1790 at age 71.¹

     Hannah Allyn was born on 30 October 1743.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Allyn III and Hannah Ellsworth.¹

     Alexander Allyn was born in 1659.¹ He married Mary Grant, daughter of John Grant and Mary Hull, on 21 September 1693 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Alexander Allyn died on 19 August 1708 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Capt. Solomon Phelps Jr. was born on 3 October 1743 at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Lt. Solomon Phelps and Temperance Barber. Capt. Solomon Phelps Jr. married Lucy Lord, daughter of Rev. Epapheas Lord and Lucy Bulkeley, on 24 October 1765 at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT.¹ Capt. Solomon Phelps Jr. died on 25 August 1817 at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT, at age 73.¹

     Lucy Lord was born on 26 August 1748 at Colchester, New London Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Rev. Epapheas Lord and Lucy Bulkeley. Lucy Lord married Capt. Solomon Phelps Jr., son of Lt. Solomon Phelps and Temperance Barber, on 24 October 1765 at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT.² Lucy Lord died on 29 September 1822 at Marlborough, CT, at age 74.

     Dorothy Phelps also went by the name of Dolly Phelps. She was born on 4 August 1774 at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT. She was the daughter of Capt. Solomon Phelps Jr. and Lucy Lord. Dorothy Phelps married Timothy Thacher 25 (or 31) Dec 1799. Dorothy Phelps died on 12 April 1859 at Tyringham, CT, at age 84.

     Timothy was a ship carpenter, builder and farmer. Timothy Thacher was born on 15 February 1774 at Wareham, MA. He married Dorothy Phelps, daughter of Capt. Solomon Phelps Jr. and Lucy Lord, 25 (or 31) Dec 1799. Timothy Thacher died on 30 October 1833 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA, at age 59. He was buried at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.

     Crocker lived at Lee and was a farmer and died at Saratoga Springs while on a visit to his uncle Stephen Thacher. Crocker Thacher was born on 9 October 1800 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.² He was the son of Timothy Thacher and Dorothy Phelps.² Crocker Thacher married Lucy Howland Bassett, daughter of Gershom Bassett and Abigail Thacher, on 5 August 1822 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA. Crocker Thacher died on 16 October 1863 at Saratoga Springs, Saratoga Co., NY, at age 63.² He was buried at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.

     Rev. Epapheas Lord was born on 26 December 1709 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Richard Lord and Abigail Warren.² Rev. Epapheas Lord was graduated in 1729 at Yale College, New Haven, New Haven Co., CT. He married Hope Phillips, daughter of Capt. George Phillips and Hope Stow, on 17 March 1731. Rev. Epapheas Lord married Lucy Bulkeley, daughter of Rev. John Bulkeley and Patience Prentice, on 25 November 1742 at Colchester, New London Co., CT.¹ Rev. Epapheas Lord died on 25 November 1799 at Marlborough, CT, at age 89.¹

     Lucy Bulkeley was born on 29 January 1720. She was the daughter of Rev. John Bulkeley and Patience Prentice. Lucy Bulkeley married Rev. Epapheas Lord, son of Richard Lord and Abigail Warren, on 25 November 1742 at Colchester, New London Co., CT.¹ Lucy Bulkeley died on 10 May 1800 at age 80.

     Charles (sometimes incorrectly recorded as Charles Stone Thacher) possessed the confidence and esteem of the community. He was chosen for one term as a representative to the Massachusetts General Court at Boston and held other minor offices at Lee at different times, amongst them that of selectman in 1842. Charles Skinner Thacher was born on 5 May 1802 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Timothy Thacher and Dorothy Phelps.¹ Charles Skinner Thacher married Atteresta Birchard, daughter of Amos Birchard and Lydia Jane Baker, on 2 December 1824 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.² Charles Skinner Thacher died on 14 December 1869 at at the home of daughter Lydia, Auburn, Cayuga Co., NY, at age 67.¹ He was buried at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.

     Betsey Freeman Thacher was born on 23 January 1804 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Timothy Thacher and Dorothy Phelps.¹ Betsey Freeman Thacher died on 28 March 1820 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA, at age 16.¹

     Buckley lived at Lee, MA, and removed to Litchfield, OH, whre he was a farmer; he died near Oneida, NY, having been killed in a railroad accident.

His birth is given in the Vital Records of Lee, MA, as 22 Mar 1806, but some other authorities give it as 22 Feb 1806. The railroad accident that claimed his life is given alternately as 16 Sep 1853 and 16 Sep 1863. Buckley Thacher was born on 22 March 1806 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.² He was the son of Timothy Thacher and Dorothy Phelps.² Buckley Thacher married Emerancy Culver, daughter of Solomon Culver and Elizabeth Leonard, on 6 April 1830 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.³ Buckley Thacher died on 16 September 1853 at near Oneida, NY, at age 47.² He was buried at Litchfield, Medina Co., OH.

Adah Eells Thacher married Seth Dickinson Graves on 10 December 1833 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.² Adah Eells Thacher died on 26 November 1901 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT, at age 93. She was buried at Spring Grove Cemetery, Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.

     Lucy Howland Bassett was born on 20 February 1803 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA. She was the daughter of Gershom Bassett and Abigail Thacher. Lucy Howland Bassett married Crocker Thacher, son of Timothy Thacher and Dorothy Phelps, on 5 August 1822 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA. Lucy Howland Bassett died on 14 November 1894 at Hardwick, Worcester Co., MA, at age 91.

     Timothy lived at Lee and at Tyringham, MA (1850-1869); Lee till 1878; Springfield, MA, till 1884; Branford, CT, till 1886; Hardwick, MA, till 1895, and at Branford, CT until his death. He was a farmer and was on the Massachusets Board of Agriculture and also worked in a factory; he taught also in public schools; he was a leader in the choir of th econgregational Church at Lee for 30 years and was a member of the Masonic fraternity. Totten. Timothy Dwight Thacher was born on 15 May 1823 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Crocker Thacher and Lucy Howland Bassett.¹ Timothy Dwight Thacher married Esther Barlow, daughter of William B. Barlow and Lois Nye, on 23 February 1843 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.² Timothy Dwight Thacher married Harriet Frances Clark, daughter of Hiram Clark and C. Hale, on 16 December 1846 at Tyringham, Berkshire Co., MA.³ Timothy Dwight Thacher died on 25 September 1910 at Branford, New Haven Co., CT, at age 87.¹

     Atteresta Birchard was born on 5 November 1806 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Amos Birchard and Lydia Jane Baker. Lydia Jane Thacher married Dr. George Benton Wright D.D.S., son of Samuel Cook Wright and Olive Benton, on 19 July 1852 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA. Lydia Jane Thacher died on 28 May 1871 at Auburn, Cayuga Co., NY, at age 44. She was buried at Fort Hill Cemetery, Auburn, Cayuga Co., NY.

     Dr. George Benton Wright D.D.S. was born on 11 May 1826 at Lee or Stockbridge, MA. He was the son of Samuel Cook Wright and Olive Benton. Dr. George Benton Wright D.D.S. married Lydia Jane Thacher, daughter of Charles Skinner Thacher and Atteresta Birchard, on 19 July 1852 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA. Dr. George Benton Wright D.D.S. married Reumah Grace Thacher, daughter of Charles Skinner Thacher and Atteresta Birchard, on 3 September 1872 at Albany, Albany Co., NY.

     Reumah Grace Thacher was born on 8 December 1841 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA. She was the daughter of Charles Skinner Thacher and Atteresta Birchard. Reumah Grace Thacher married Dr. George Benton Wright D.D.S., son of Samuel Cook Wright and Olive Benton, on 3 September 1872 at Albany, Albany Co., NY.

     Amos Birchard Thacher was born on 24 June 1828 or 25 June 1828 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Charles Skinner Thacher and Atteresta Birchard.¹ Amos Birchard Thacher died on 26 September 1866 or 28 September 1866 at at his father's house, Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹

     Nancy Attesesta Thacher was born on 1 February 1830 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Skinner Thacher and Atteresta Birchard.¹ Nancy Attesesta Thacher died on 28 November 1846 or 28 November 1847 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ She was buried at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.

     Charles was a blacksmith and lived at Lee, MA. He served in the Civil War in the 49th Massachusetts Volunteers; he died of consumption contracted while serving in the army at Port Hudson.

After his death, Cynthia married Samuel Sidney Chapman and had two sons and three daughters. Charles Franlkin Thacher was born on 21 August 1832 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA. He was the son of Charles Skinner Thacher and Atteresta Birchard. Charles Franlkin Thacher married Cynthia Jane Bigelow, daughter of William Asa Bigelow and Catherine Crumb Meaker, on 9 April 1862 at North Egremont, Berkshire Co., MA. Charles Franlkin Thacher died on 30 January 1869 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA, at age 36.

     Lucy was the compiler of the original Thacher Genealogy which was publishd in her memory by her husband, D.W. Allen. It was the foundation on which the Thacher Genealogy by Totten was published. Lucy Emeline Thacher was born on 26 November 1834 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Skinner Thacher and Atteresta Birchard.¹ Lucy Emeline Thacher married Dr. David Williams Allen, son of Hosea Allen and Lydia Meech, on 1 July 1868 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA. Lucy Emeline Thacher died on 22 August 1869 at Vineland, Cumberland Co., NJ, at age 34.¹ She was buried at Vineland, Cumberland Co., NJ.

     George was in the wholesale grocery business and a salesman on the road for Pillsbury and other firms. No children. George Alfred Thacher was born on 13 August 1836 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.² He was the son of Charles Skinner Thacher and Atteresta Birchard.² George Alfred Thacher married Frances Platner on 25 November 1869 at Cherry Valley, Otsego Co., NY.

     Julian David Thacher was born on 19 November 1838 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Charles Skinner Thacher and Atteresta Birchard.¹ Julian David Thacher died of whooping cough on 23 October 1842 at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA, at age 3.¹ He was buried at Lee, Berkshire Co., MA.
