     Thomas Judd was born on 12 August 1743 at Waterbury, New Haven Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Judd and Abigail Adams.¹ Thomas Judd married Mary Alvord, daughter of Thomas Alvord III and Submit Bishop, circa May 1764 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT.^1,2 Thomas Judd died circa 1828 at Bastard Township, Leeds, ON, Canada.²

     Mary Alvord was born on 17 October 1744 at Middletown, Middlesex Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Alvord III and Submit Bishop.² Mary Alvord married Thomas Judd, son of Benjamin Judd and Abigail Adams, circa May 1764 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT.^1,3

     Thomas Alvord III was born on 18 May 1710 at Northampton, Hampshire Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Thomas Alvord Jr. and Mary Strong.¹ Thomas Alvord III married Submit Bishop.¹ Thomas Alvord III died on 16 March 1786 at Middletown, Middlesex Co., CT, at age 75.¹

     Submit Bishop was born on 25 April 1713 at Guilford, New Haven Co., CT.¹ She married Thomas Alvord III, son of Thomas Alvord Jr. and Mary Strong.¹ Submit Bishop died on 22 April 1793 at Middletown, Middlesex Co., CT, at age 79.¹

     Thomas Alvord Jr. was born on 28 August 1683 at Northampton, Hampshire Co., MA.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas Alvord and Joanna Taylor. Thomas Alvord Jr. married Esther Parsons on 3 January 1705/6 at Northampton, Hampshire Co., MA.² Thomas Alvord Jr. married Mary Strong, daughter of Thomas Strong Jr. and Mary Stebbins.¹ Thomas Alvord Jr. was buried on 29 December 1768 at Chatham, Middlesex Co., CT.²

     Mary Strong was born on 29 December 1690.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Strong Jr. and Mary Stebbins. Mary Strong married Thomas Alvord Jr., son of Thomas Alvord and Joanna Taylor.¹

     Mary Stebbins was born on 10 September 1666.¹ She married Thomas Strong Jr., son of Thomas Strong and Mary Hewett, on 17 November 1683.¹

     Arza Erastus Hinckley was born on 15 August 1826 at Bastard, Leeds, Ontario, Canada.¹ He was the son of Erastus Nathaniel Hinckley and Lois Judd.² Arza Erastus Hinckley married Amelia Woodhouse, daughter of Charles Woodhouse and Ann Long, on 1 March 1853.¹ Arza Erastus Hinckley died on 18 February 1901 at Rexburg, Madison Co., ID, at age 74.¹

     Amelia Woodhouse was born on 17 April 1834 at Bonherter, Yorks, England.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Woodhouse and Ann Long.¹ Amelia Woodhouse married Arza Erastus Hinckley, son of Erastus Nathaniel Hinckley and Lois Judd, on 1 March 1853.¹ Amelia Woodhouse died on 4 January 1861 at age 26.¹

     Erastus Nathaniel Hinckley was born on 5 December 1794 at VT.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Hinckley and Rhoda Barber.¹ Erastus Nathaniel Hinckley married Lois Judd, daughter of Arza Judd and Lois Knapp.¹ Erastus Nathaniel Hinckley died on 8 September 1831 at Leeds, Ontario, Canada, at age 36.¹

     Lois Judd was born on 15 April 1805 at Leeds, Ontario, Canada.¹ She was the daughter of Arza Judd and Lois Knapp.² Lois Judd married Erastus Nathaniel Hinckley, son of Nathaniel Hinckley and Rhoda Barber.¹ Lois Judd died in 1841 at Springfield, Sangamon Co., IL.¹

     Rhoda Barber was born on 3 February 1773 at CT.² She was the daughter of Daniel Barber and Sarah Phelps. Rhoda Barber died in August 1839 at Willsboro, Essex Co., NY, at age 66.²

It is not certain that Rhoda belongs in Daniel's family. It is thought that she does, since she was in Elizabethtown at the time of her marriage.³

     Arza Judd was born on 4 November 1766 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Thomas Judd and Mary Alvord. Arza Judd married Lois Knapp, daughter of Zadock Knapp and Elizabeth Turner, on 19 March 1792.¹

     Lois Knapp was born on 19 September 1773.¹ She was the daughter of Zadock Knapp and Elizabeth Turner.¹ Lois Knapp married Arza Judd, son of Thomas Judd and Mary Alvord, on 19 March 1792.¹

     Homer Franklin Holcombe was born on 1 June 1918 at Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., IA. He was the son of Asa Dowell Holcombe and Mabel Lulu Zimmerman. Homer Franklin Holcombe married Rosalee Neel on 14 February 1943 at Inglewood, Los Angeles Co., CA. Homer Franklin Holcombe died on 21 March 2005 at Los Lunas, Valencia Co., NM, at age 86.

Homer F. Holcombe, 86, passed away on March 21, 2005. Homer was born in Cedar Rapids, IA on June 1, 1918. He moved to Albuquerque with his parents at three years of age. He graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1936. He joined the U.S. Coast Guard and served during World War II. While in the service, he met and married Roselee Neel, who preceded him in death. Homer is survived by five children, Kathy Spencer and husband, Jim, of Big Sandy, TX, Glenna Mitchell and husband, Allan, of Albuquerque, Harold Holcombe and wife, Jacque, of Los Lunas, Sandy Marcus and husband, Charlie, of San Juan Pueblo, and Susan Broekstra and husband, Pete, of Los Lunas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Homer was a printer. He belonged to the International Typographical Union and worked for the Albuquerque Tribune 40 years, retiring in 1981. He loved photography, poetry, built his own home as well as helped build his son's home. He was a loving father and grandfather.      Sarah J. Foster was born on 4 October 1845 at Waterford, ME. She married Addison H. French, son of Cyrus French and Naomi Sargent, on 29 December 1866 at Lowell, Middlesex Co., MA. Sarah J. Foster died on 11 February 1899 at Manchester, Hillsborough Co., NH, at age 53.
