     Rebecca Jane Curtiss was born on 9 December 1819 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Timothy H. Curtiss and Sally McComb. Rebecca Jane Curtiss married Henry Watts Ensign, son of Bildad Ensign and Melissa Holcombe, on 18 March 1847 at New York City, NY.^1,2 Rebecca Jane Curtiss died on 9 January 1891 at age 71.²

     Ella Barnes Ensign was born on 21 July 1857 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of Henry Watts Ensign and Rebecca Jane Curtiss. Ella Barnes Ensign was a member in 1895 at DAR; 7043, Washington, DC.

     Thomas Spring III was born in 1798. He was the son of Thomas Spring II and Jerusha Pomeroy. Thomas Spring III married Candace Holcombe, daughter of Ebenezer Holcombe and Chloe Bacon, in 1824. Thomas Spring III died in 1868.

     Emma Eliza Spring was born at MA. She was the daughter of Thomas Spring III and Candace Holcombe. Emma Eliza Spring married Miron Case Brockett, son of Levi Brockett and Lydia Case. Emma Eliza Spring was a member on 5 February 1896 at DAR, Katherine Gaylord Chapter; 12026, Bristol, Hartford Co., CT.

     DAR record # 7395. Miron Case Brockett married Emma Eliza Spring, daughter of Thomas Spring III and Candace Holcombe. Miron Case Brockett was born on 3 March 1831. He was the son of Levi Brockett and Lydia Case. Miron Case Brockett died on 2 December 1879 at age 48.

     Emma Brockett was born at Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Miron Case Brockett and Emma Eliza Spring. Emma Brockett was a member on 7 January 1895 at DAR, Katherine Gaylord Chapter; 7395, Bristol, Hartford Co., CT.

     Levi Brockett married Lydia Case, daughter of Benajah Case and Anna Moses, on 14 September 1825 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Benajah served as a private in the Revolutionary War, and is listed as the Patriot in DAR record # 7395. Benajah Case was born on 10 August 1738 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Joseph Case and Hannah Humphrey. Benajah Case died before 1790.

He was the son of Benajah Case and Lydia Woodruff. Benajah Case married Anna Moses, daughter of Michael Moses and Thankful Case, on 2 October 1787 at First Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Benajah Case died in 1841 at OH.

     Listed in DAR record 7395. Anna Moses was born on 5 November 1769 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Michael Moses and Thankful Case. Anna Moses married Benajah Case, son of Benajah Case and Lydia Woodruff, on 2 October 1787 at First Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Anna Moses died on 11 September 1831 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 61.

     Listed in DAR record 7395. Lydia Case was born on 8 May 1804 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Benajah Case and Anna Moses. Lydia Case married Levi Brockett on 14 September 1825 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Lydia Case died in 1877.

     Michael Moses was born on 12 September 1737 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Caleb Moses and Hannah Beaman. Michael Moses married Thankful Case, daughter of Joel Case and Thankful Hoskins, on 2 July 1764 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Michael Moses died on 14 March 1797 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 59.

     Thankful Case was born on 23 September 1747 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Joel Case and Thankful Hoskins. Thankful Case married Michael Moses, son of Caleb Moses and Hannah Beaman, on 2 July 1764 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Thankful Case died on 23 April 1810 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 62.

     Thankful Hoskins was born circa 1725 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Robert Hoskins and Elizabeth Buckland. Thankful Hoskins married Joel Case, son of Joseph Case and Ann Eno, on 28 October 1747 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Abigail Holcombe was born on 20 October 1808 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Samuel Holcombe and Lucinda Holcombe. Abigail Holcombe married Marvin Sexton, son of Timothy Sexton and Elizabeth Griswold, on 20 June 1839. Abigail Holcombe died on 20 January 1846 at CT at age 37.

     Marvin is descended from Patriot Capt. Edward Sexton who was appointed by the Ct. Assembly as Capt. of 4th Co. 1st Regt. raised May 1776.¹ Marvin Sexton was born on 23 March 1804 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Timothy Sexton and Elizabeth Griswold. Marvin Sexton married Abigail Holcombe, daughter of Samuel Holcombe and Lucinda Holcombe, on 20 June 1839.

     Abigail Lucy Sexton was born on 20 January 1846 at CT. She was the daughter of Marvin Sexton and Abigail Holcombe. Abigail Lucy Sexton married Wilbur Bevins Case, son of Asahel Leverett Case and Malinda Case, on 2 March 1869 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. Abigail Lucy Sexton married Dr. Lucius Israel Barber on 10 June 1874. Abigail Lucy Sexton was a member in 1896 at DAR; 11414, Washington, DC. She died in 1910.

     Dr. Lucius Israel Barber was born on 7 October 1806 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He married Abigail Lucy Sexton, daughter of Marvin Sexton and Abigail Holcombe, on 10 June 1874. Dr. Lucius Israel Barber died on 16 February 1889 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 82.

     Timothy Sexton was the son of Edward Sexton II and Elizabeth (?) Timothy Sexton married Elizabeth Griswold, daughter of Edward Griswold and Elizabeth Griswold, on 3 September 1798.

     Edward Sexton II was born in 1761. He was the son of Capt. Edward Sexton and Abigail Phelps. Edward Sexton II died on 15 October 1832 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Capt. Edward Sexton married Abigail Phelps. Capt. Edward Sexton was born on 23 July 1729 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He died on 22 February 1785 at age 55.

     Abigail Phelps married Capt. Edward Sexton. Abigail Phelps was born on 5 November 1735 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She died on 4 October 1798 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 62.

     Elizabeth Case was born on 24 February 1748/49 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Joel Case and Thankful Hoskins. Elizabeth Case married Elijah Reed, son of Jacob Reed and Mary Hill. Elizabeth Case married Isaac Case Jr., son of Isaac Case and Bathsheba Humphrey. Elizabeth Case died on 4 March 1816 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 67.

     Isabel Case was born on 16 January 1751. She was the daughter of Joel Case and Thankful Hoskins. Isabel Case died on 1 September 1782 at age 31.

     Joel Case was born on 2 March 1753 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Joel Case and Thankful Hoskins. Joel Case died on 4 January 1754 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Susannah Case was born on 30 October 1754 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Joel Case and Thankful Hoskins.

     Calvin Case was born on 10 April 1763 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Joel Case and Thankful Hoskins. Calvin Case died in 1854.

     Joel Case Jr. was born on 30 January 1770 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Joel Case and Thankful Hoskins.

     Joel Barber was born on 1 July 1760 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Joel Barber and Mary Drake. Joel Barber married Rosette Case, daughter of Joel Case and Thankful Hoskins. Joel Barber died on 1 April 1820 at age 59.
