Dr. Theodore B. Hewitt, head of the German Language department at the University of Buffalo for nearly thirty years, died here today at the age of 70.

Dr. Hewitt was born in Hanover, Germany, the son of John Haskell Hewitt, former head of the Classics Department at Williams College, Williamstown, Mass.

John Haskell Hewitt was in Germany at the time of his son's birth because he was on Sabbatical from his position as a Classics professor.

     Maysel Holcombe was born on 6 June 1924 at Clay Co., WV.¹ She was the daughter of William Franklin Holcombe and Virgie Maude Sizemore.¹ Maysel Holcombe married Garland Morris. Maysel Holcombe died on 12 May 2010 at Dixie, Nicholas Co., WV, at age 85.¹
