     Emma Pease Howard was born say 1859.¹ She was the daughter of Edwin J. Howard and Sarah Frances Rice.¹

     Helen C. Howard was born say 1861.¹ She was the daughter of Edwin J. Howard and Sarah Frances Rice.¹

     George E. Howard was born say 1871.¹ He was the son of Edwin J. Howard and Sarah Frances Rice.¹

     Harriet Aminda Humphrey was born on 18 December 1817 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Lemuel Humphrey and Elizabeth Pinney.¹ Harriet Aminda Humphrey married William Brown Dunton, son of William Dunton and Zerviah Withey, on 11 April 1838 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ Harriet Aminda Humphrey died on 12 July 1854 at Johnson Co., IA, at age 36.¹

William's parents removed to Delaware Co., OH, when he ws six years old. After his marriage, he lived on a farm five miles from Worthington, Oh, unti 1849, when he removed to Johnson County, Iowa. In 1872, he went to Otoe County, Nebraska, where he resided in 1884.²

     Almon Hervey Humphrey was born on 17 December 1818 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Lemuel Humphrey and Elizabeth Pinney.¹

     Dorcas Adelia Humphrey was born on 19 January 1824 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Lemuel Humphrey and Elizabeth Pinney.¹ Dorcas Adelia Humphrey died on 24 May 1873 at Johnson Co., IA, at age 49.¹

     Mary Eliza Humphrey was born on 8 June 1827 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Lemuel Humphrey and Elizabeth Pinney.¹ Mary Eliza Humphrey died on 30 July 1846 at Johnson Co., IA, at age 19.¹

     Ruth Emily Humphrey was born on 28 May 1833 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Lemuel Humphrey and Elizabeth Pinney.¹

     Lemuel Gordon Humphrey was born on 16 May 1835.¹ He was the son of Lemuel Humphrey and Elizabeth Pinney.¹ Lemuel Gordon Humphrey died; in infancy.

     Betsey Starr was born on 30 August 1802 at Groton, New London Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of John Starr and Betsey (?)¹ Betsey Starr married Aaron Case Humphrey, son of Lemuel Gordon Humphrey and Dorcas Case, on 12 December 1822 at Franklin Co., OH.¹ Betsey Starr died on 1 July 1849 at Tipton, Cedar Co., IA, at age 46.¹

     Sophronia Humphrey was born on 20 September 1823 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Aaron Case Humphrey and Betsey Starr.¹ Sophronia Humphrey died; in infancy.¹

     Lurenda Humphrey was born on 5 November 1825 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Aaron Case Humphrey and Betsey Starr.¹
