     William Loomis was born on 2 December 1769 at Milton, Chittenden Co., VT.¹ He was the son of Jonah Loomis and Mehitable Cram.¹ William Loomis died on 7 March 1813 at East Roxbury, VT, at age 43.¹

     Alden Spooner Loomis was born on 12 February 1796 at Roxbury, VT.¹ He was the son of William Loomis and Anna Prouty.¹ Alden Spooner Loomis married Elizabeth S. Kendall, daughter of Nathan N. Kendall and Elizabeth Stearns, on 28 November 1821 at Roxbury, VT.¹ Alden Spooner Loomis died on 5 March 1856 at Roxbury, VT, at age 60.¹

     Elizabeth S. Kendall was born on 15 March 1803 at Roxbury, VT.¹ She was the daughter of Nathan N. Kendall and Elizabeth Stearns. Elizabeth S. Kendall married Alden Spooner Loomis, son of William Loomis and Anna Prouty, on 28 November 1821 at Roxbury, VT.¹ Elizabeth S. Kendall died on 8 October 1852 at Roxbury, VT, at age 49.¹

     Elizabeth Ann Loomis was born on 11 November 1831 at Roxbury, VT.¹ She was the daughter of Alden Spooner Loomis and Elizabeth S. Kendall.¹

     George Griswold was born on 28 September 1737 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of George Griswold and Zerviah Griswold.¹ George Griswold married Mary Hayden, daughter of Ebenezer Hayden and Mary Trumbull, on 16 August 1759 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ George Griswold married Azubah Strong, daughter of John Warham Strong and Azuba Griswold.² George Griswold died on 2 January 1823 at age 85.¹ He was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, Poquonock, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Mary Hayden was born in 1739.¹ She was the daughter of Ebenezer Hayden and Mary Trumbull.¹ Mary Hayden married George Griswold, son of George Griswold and Zerviah Griswold, on 16 August 1759 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Mary Hayden died on 11 September 1788.¹

     George Griswold was born on 8 June 1762 at Windsor Locks, Hartford Co., CT.^2,3 He was the son of George Griswold and Mary Hayden.¹ George Griswold married Eunice Ingersoll circa 1794.³

     Eunice Ingersoll was born in 1769. She married George Griswold, son of George Griswold and Mary Hayden, circa 1794.¹

     George Dickson Griswold was born in 1804 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of George Griswold and Eunice Ingersoll.² George Dickson Griswold married Charlotte Blanchard on 16 November 1826 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. George Dickson Griswold died in 1864.¹

     Charlotte Blanchard was born in 1808.¹ She married George Dickson Griswold, son of George Griswold and Eunice Ingersoll, on 16 November 1826 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Charlotte Blanchard died in 1868.¹

     Algernon Sidney Griswold was born circa 1833.¹ He was the son of George Dickson Griswold and Charlotte Blanchard.¹ Algernon Sidney Griswold died on 12 January 1862.¹

Sidney enlisted from Berlin, CT, 23 May 1861 in Co. C, 1st HA Reg CT.

     Margaret Griswold was born circa 1846.¹ She was the daughter of George Dickson Griswold and Charlotte Blanchard.¹

     Emerson Griswold was born circa 1849.¹ He was the son of George Dickson Griswold and Charlotte Blanchard.¹

     Helen Griswold was the daughter of George Dickson Griswold and Charlotte Blanchard. Helen Griswold died.

     Elizabeth Gooding was born on 25 August 1852.¹ She was the daughter of George A. Gooding and Elizabeth Carpenter.¹ Elizabeth Gooding died on 22 October 1853 at Delaware Co., OH, at age 1.¹

     Elizabeth Gooding also went by the name of Lizzie Gooding. She was born on 24 May 1857 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of George A. Gooding and Elizabeth Carpenter.¹ Elizabeth Gooding died on 4 January 1921 at age 63.¹

     James Stanley Gooding was born on 30 December 1859 at Delaware Co., OH.¹ He was the son of George A. Gooding and Elizabeth Carpenter.¹ James Stanley Gooding married Esther Agnew in 1894. James Stanley Gooding died on 12 April 1930 at age 70.¹

Stanley was enumerated in the 1910 Census of Delaware Co., OH, ED 49, with Esther, James, Josephine, Helen, Margaret, and Robert. Also living in the household were "mothers" Jennie Pease and Elizabeth Gooding.

     Esther Agnew was born circa 1866 at OH. She married James Stanley Gooding, son of George A. Gooding and Elizabeth Carpenter, in 1894.
