     Franklin Charles Sargent Jr. was also known as Frank Sargent.² He was born on 3 March 1900 at Syracuse, Onondaga Co., NY.^1,2 He was the son of Frank Charles Sargent and Mary Louise Hubbard.¹ Franklin Charles Sargent Jr. married Josephine deVane in 1929.² Franklin Charles Sargent Jr. and Josephine deVane were divorced in 1944. Franklin Charles Sargent Jr. died on 31 August 1977 at Pottstown, Montgomery Co., PA, at age 77.^1,2

     Harold Morton Adkins was born on 31 October 1877 at Oswego, Oswego Co., NY.¹ He married Ida Florence Hubbard, daughter of Charles Henry Hubbard and Mary Elizabeth Brainerd, on 2 June 1908.¹ Harold Morton Adkins died on 25 November 1926 at New York City, NY, at age 49.¹ He was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse, Onondaga Co., NY.¹

     Charles Edson Adkins was born on 29 August 1909 at Syracuse, Onondaga Co., NY.^1,2 He was the son of Harold Morton Adkins and Ida Florence Hubbard.^1,2 Charles Edson Adkins died on 13 August 1995 at St. Luke's Hospital, Utica, Oneida Co., NY, at age 85.^1,2

Charles taught english at Syracuse Millikin, and Colgate Universities. He was director of public relations at Colgate and Vice President of Wheaton College in 1956. As president of Briarcliff from 1960 to 1969 he steered the college to a four-year institution. He also served as president of the Commission for Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania and of the College Research Center.¹

     Helen Brainerd was born on 22 August 1835 at Troy, Rensselaer Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Elizur Spencer Brainerd and Lyndia Fuller.¹ Helen Brainerd died on 31 January 1838 at age 2.¹

     Charlotte Hamilton Brainerd was born on 5 February 1844 at Troy, Rensselaer Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Elizur Spencer Brainerd and Lyndia Fuller.¹ Charlotte Hamilton Brainerd married George H. Mitchell on 29 June 1870.¹

     George H. Mitchell was born on 9 July 1836 at DeRuyter, Madison Co., NY.¹ He married Charlotte Hamilton Brainerd, daughter of Elizur Spencer Brainerd and Lyndia Fuller, on 29 June 1870.¹

     Benjamin Chapman Brainerd was born on 24 August 1804 at Haddam Neck, Middlesex Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Robert Brainerd and Abigail Spencer.¹ Benjamin Chapman Brainerd married Eunice P. Ashley, daughter of Pelatiah Ashley and Mary Jones, on 21 November 1831.¹ Benjamin Chapman Brainerd died on 19 November 1866 at age 62.¹

     Eunice P. Ashley was born on 17 June 1807 at West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Pelatiah Ashley and Mary Jones.¹ Eunice P. Ashley married Benjamin Chapman Brainerd, son of Robert Brainerd and Abigail Spencer, on 21 November 1831.¹

     Fanny Susan Brainerd was born on 3 October 1799 at Haddam Neck, Middlesex Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Brainerd and Abigail Spencer.¹ Fanny Susan Brainerd married Stillman Moody, son of Sylvester Moody and Rhoda Day, circa 1825.¹ Fanny Susan Brainerd died on 15 December 1839 at age 40.¹

Stillman was a carpenter, S. Hadley Falls; they had six children.¹
