Sarah Drake Barber married Augustus Humphrey, son of Solomon Humphrey and Naomi Higley, on 19 February 1811 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT.

     Augustus Humphrey was born on 4 September 1771 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Solomon Humphrey and Naomi Higley. Augustus Humphrey married Sarah Drake Barber, daughter of Ephraim Barber and Sarah Drake, on 19 February 1811 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. Augustus Humphrey died in 1859.

     Hannah Barber was born on 17 December 1784 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Ephraim Barber and Sarah Drake. Hannah Barber married Lyman Atwater, son of Ichabod Atwater and Bethia Richards, in 1808 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. Hannah Barber died in August 1884 at age 99.

     Lyman Atwater was the son of Ichabod Atwater and Bethia Richards. Lyman Atwater married Hannah Barber, daughter of Ephraim Barber and Sarah Drake, in 1808 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT.

     Mahala Case was born on 20 February 1806 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Titus Case and Amy Reed. Mahala Case married Josiah Wolcott Atwater, son of Lyman Atwater and Hannah Barber, on 12 September 1843 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. Mahala Case died on 30 March 1846 at age 40.

     Clara Case was born on 6 February 1809 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Titus Case and Amy Reed. Clara Case married Josiah Wolcott Atwater, son of Lyman Atwater and Hannah Barber, on 11 June 1846 at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.

     Sherman Atwater died young. He was the son of Lyman Atwater and Hannah Barber.

     Josiah Wolcott Atwater was born on 8 April 1814. He was the son of Lyman Atwater and Hannah Barber. Josiah Wolcott Atwater married Mahala Case, daughter of Titus Case and Amy Reed, on 12 September 1843 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. Josiah Wolcott Atwater married Clara Case, daughter of Titus Case and Amy Reed, on 11 June 1846 at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.

     Washington V. Atwater was born on 22 January 1847. He was the son of Josiah Wolcott Atwater and Clara Case.

     Laura Atwater was the daughter of Lyman Atwater and Hannah Barber.

     Dr. Barber thinks that Lucina Atwater and her husband Martin Rust bay be a duplicate of the Sara Louise Atwater entry and Louise and Lucina may be the same person. Lucina Atwater married Martin Rust. Lucina Atwater was the daughter of Lyman Atwater and Hannah Barber.

     Martha Barber was the daughter of Erastus Barber and Flavia Kelsey. Dr. Barber gives her birth as 26 Apr 1784, probably a typo.
