Sarah Case married Joseph Higley, son of Brewster Higley and Hester Holcombe, on 19 March 1740 or 1741 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Sarah Case died on 12 June 1756 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Pelatiah Mills was born on 19 January 1723/24 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Capt. Pelatiah Mills and Martha Chapman. Pelatiah Mills married Hannah Higley, daughter of Brewster Higley and Hester Holcombe, on 29 March 1743 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Pelatiah Mills died on 1 July 1786 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 62.

     Capt. Pelatiah Mills was the son of Peter Mills and Joanna Porter. Capt. Pelatiah Mills married Martha Chapman on 5 July 1720.

     Martha Chapman married Capt. Pelatiah Mills, son of Peter Mills and Joanna Porter, on 5 July 1720.

     Peter Mills was born between 14 May 1667 and 14 May 1669. He was the son of Peter Mills and Dorcas Messenger. Peter Mills married Joanna Porter, daughter of John Porter III and Joanna Gaylord, on 21 July 1692 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Peter Mills died on 14 May 1756 at Wintonbury (now Bloomfield), CT.

     Joanna Porter was born on 7 February 1670 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of John Porter III and Joanna Gaylord. Joanna Porter married Peter Mills, son of Peter Mills and Dorcas Messenger, on 21 July 1692 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Joanna Porter died on 2 December 1760 at age 90.

     Peter Mills was also known as Pieter Wouterse van der Meulen. He was born in 1622. He was the son of Peter Wouterse Van der Meulen Sir. Peter Mills married Dorcas Messenger, daughter of Edward Messenger and Unknown (?), by June 9, 1666.

     Dorcas Messenger was born on 23 September 1650 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Edward Messenger and Unknown (?) Dorcas Messenger married Peter Mills, son of Peter Wouterse Van der Meulen Sir, by June 9, 1666. Dorcas Messenger died on 18 May 1688 at age 37.

     Ester Higley was born on 3 December 1719 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Brewster Higley and Hester Holcombe. Ester Higley married Capt. Josiah Case, son of Capt. James Case and Esther Fithian, in 1740. Ester Higley died on 15 September 1807 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT, at age 87.

     Ruth Cost Duncan cites the Simsbury Vital Records. There may be some confusion over the husbands of Josiah's daughters Esther and Anna. Ruth Duncan shows that they both married Abram Pinney as one of multiple marriages for both. Capt. Josiah Case was born on 1 April 1718 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Capt. James Case and Esther Fithian. Capt. Josiah Case married Ester Higley, daughter of Brewster Higley and Hester Holcombe, in 1740. Capt. Josiah Case died on 21 November 1789 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT, at age 71. He was buried at Dyer Cemetery, Canton, Hartford Co., CT.

     John Higley was born on 17 February 1721/22 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Brewster Higley and Hester Holcombe. John Higley married Apphia Humphrey, daughter of Jonathan Humphrey and Mercy Ruggles, in 1746. John Higley died in May 1802 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 80.

     Apphia Humphrey was born on 9 May 1724. She was the daughter of Jonathan Humphrey and Mercy Ruggles.¹ Apphia Humphrey married John Higley, son of Brewster Higley and Hester Holcombe, in 1746. Apphia Humphrey died on 27 August 1762 at age 38.

     Elizabeth Higley was born in 1723. She was the daughter of Brewster Higley and Hester Holcombe. Elizabeth Higley married Rev. Gideon Mills, son of Peter Mills and Joanna Porter, on 23 November 1748 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Elizabeth Higley died on 26 July 1774 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² She was buried at Dyer Cemetery, Canton, Hartford Co., CT.

Gideon Mills was born on 15 August 1715 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Peter Mills and Joanna Porter. Rev. Gideon Mills married Elizabeth Higley, daughter of Brewster Higley and Hester Holcombe, on 23 November 1748 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.³ Rev. Gideon Mills died on 4 August 1772 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 56.⁴ He was buried at Dyer Cemetery, Canton, Hartford Co., CT.

     Naomi Higley was born on 21 May 1728 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² She was the daughter of Brewster Higley and Hester Holcombe. Naomi Higley married Solomon Humphrey, son of Jonathan Humphrey and Mercy Ruggles. Naomi Higley died in 1817.

     Solomon Humphrey was born on 2 May 1724 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Jonathan Humphrey and Mercy Ruggles. Solomon Humphrey married Naomi Higley, daughter of Brewster Higley and Hester Holcombe. Solomon Humphrey died in 1798.

     Hannah Alford was born on 29 March 1727.¹ She was the daughter of Nathaniel Alford and Experience Holcombe. Hannah Alford married Isaac Messenger, son of Joseph Messenger and Catherine Holcombe, circa 1740.¹ Hannah Alford died in 1811 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Joseph North was born on 2 April 1730. He was the son of Nathaniel North and Margaret Holcombe. Joseph North died in 1775.

     Also called Margaret. Miriam North was born on 2 January 1714. She was the daughter of Nathaniel North and Margaret Holcombe. Miriam North died on 17 June 1803 at age 89.

     Mary North was born on 18 March 1717. She was the daughter of Nathaniel North and Margaret Holcombe. Mary North married Ladwick Hotchkiss. Mary North died on 21 February 1775 at age 57.

     Ladwick Hotchkiss was born on 13 January 1723 at CT.¹ He married Mary North, daughter of Nathaniel North and Margaret Holcombe. Ladwick Hotchkiss died on 7 March 1803 at New Durham, NY, at age 80.¹ He was buried at Old East Street Burying Ground, Plainville, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Dr. Samuel Barber II was born on 26 January 1714 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.^3,4 He was the son of Samuel Barber and Sarah Holcombe. Dr. Samuel Barber II married Tryphenia Humphrey, daughter of Ensign Samuel Humphrey and Lydia North, on 11 June 1739 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.³ Dr. Samuel Barber II married Hannah Humphrey, daughter of Noah Humphrey and Hannah Case, circa 1753.³ Dr. Samuel Barber II died on 14 January 1797 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT, at age 82.³ He was buried at Dyer Cemetery, Canton, Hartford Co., CT.⁴

     Hannah Humphrey was born on 8 June 1728. She was the daughter of Noah Humphrey and Hannah Case. Hannah Humphrey married Dr. Samuel Barber II, son of Samuel Barber and Sarah Holcombe, circa 1753.³ Hannah Humphrey died in 1819.

Hannah possible had an earlier marriage to John Case according to Ruth Cost Duncan.

     Tryphenia Humphrey was born on 29 January 1722. She was the daughter of Ensign Samuel Humphrey and Lydia North. Tryphenia Humphrey married Dr. Samuel Barber II, son of Samuel Barber and Sarah Holcombe, on 11 June 1739 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² Tryphenia Humphrey died in 1752.

     Sgt. Thomas Barber was born in 1716 at probably Simsbury, CT. He was the son of Samuel Barber and Sarah Holcombe. Sgt. Thomas Barber married Elizabeth Adams, daughter of Samuel Adams and Elizabeth Reed, on 8 December 1737 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Sgt. Thomas Barber died in 1792.

     Elizabeth Adams was born on 5 September 1715. She was the daughter of Samuel Adams and Elizabeth Reed. Elizabeth Adams married Sgt. Thomas Barber, son of Samuel Barber and Sarah Holcombe, on 8 December 1737 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Elizabeth Adams died in 1809.

     Samuel Adams was the son of Daniel Adams and Mary Pinney. Samuel Adams married Elizabeth Reed.

     Elizabeth Reed married Samuel Adams, son of Daniel Adams and Mary Pinney.

     Daniel Adams married Mary Pinney.

     Jonathan Barber was born in 1717 at probably Simsbury, CT. He was the son of Samuel Barber and Sarah Holcombe. Jonathan Barber married Jemima Cornish, daughter of Deacon James Cornish and Hannah Hillyer, on 28 May 1740 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Jonathan Barber died in 1745.

     Jemima Cornish was born on 20 November 1718. She was the daughter of Deacon James Cornish and Hannah Hillyer. Jemima Cornish married Jonathan Barber, son of Samuel Barber and Sarah Holcombe, on 28 May 1740 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Jemima Cornish married Jacob Pettibone. Jemima Cornish died in 1791.

     John Barber was born in 1719 at probably Simsbury, CT. He was the son of Samuel Barber and Sarah Holcombe. John Barber married Lydia Reed, daughter of Jacob Reed and Mary Hill, on 21 January 1746/47 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. John Barber died on 27 December 1797.

     Lydia Reed was born on 18 November 1726. She was the daughter of Jacob Reed and Mary Hill. Lydia Reed married John Barber, son of Samuel Barber and Sarah Holcombe, on 21 January 1746/47 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Lydia Reed died on 11 October 1806 at age 79.

     Capt. John Case was born on 19 February 1718 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of John Case and Abigail Humphrey. Capt. John Case married Sarah Barber, daughter of Samuel Barber and Sarah Holcombe, on 7 November 1745 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Capt. John Case died on 24 May 1776 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 58. He was buried at Hopmeadow Cemetery, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

John was a member of the Genral Court. He served as 2nd Lieut. in the 9th Co. Capt. Jonathan Seymour, Campaign of 1756 at Crown Point.
