     Dr. Gaston Holcomb Edwards was born on 18 August 1875 at CT. He was the son of Dr. George W. Edwards and Ann Eliza Holcombe. Dr. Gaston Holcomb Edwards died on 29 December 1934 at FL at age 59.

     Stanley Welles Edwards was born on 20 October 1877 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Dr. George W. Edwards and Ann Eliza Holcombe. Stanley Welles Edwards died on 7 July 1919 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 41.

     William P. Holcombe was born circa April 1829.¹ He was the son of Milo Holcombe and Orpha Parsons.¹ William P. Holcombe died on 13 July 1829; whooping cough.¹ He was buried at West Granby Cemetery, Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Edward Austin Buck was born in 1847. He was the son of (?) Buck and Rachel (?)

     Emma Gertrude Buck was born in 1849. She was the daughter of (?) Buck and Rachel (?)

     Venetia Everna Buck was born in 1853. She was the daughter of (?) Buck and Rachel (?)

     Ellen May Buck was born in 1854. She was the daughter of (?) Buck and Rachel (?)

     Elizabeth Laurabelle Buck was born in 1857. She was the daughter of (?) Buck and Rachel (?)

     Oren H. Lee was born circa 1796; based on age at death. He married Susannah Holcombe, daughter of Nahum Holcombe and Rebecca Moore, on 26 September 1821 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. Oren H. Lee married Elizabeth Chapin after 1846. Oren H. Lee died on 3 December 1864.¹

     Richard Henry Lee was born on 8 February 1841 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Oren H. Lee and Susannah Holcombe. Richard Henry Lee married Mary Elizabeth Holcombe, daughter of Chauncey Holcombe and Polly Holcombe, on 10 April 1866. Richard Henry Lee died on 27 May 1876 at age 35.²

Following his mother's early death, "Henry" as he was called, was raised by his father's second wife, Elizabeth Chapin Lee. ³

From Carol Laun: He enlisted in Company E of the 16th Connecticut Volunteers in July 1862, along with 19 other young men from Granby. In 1864 the 16th was defeated in North Carolina and the Granby soldiers who were captured were sent to the prison of infamy called Andersonville. Henry suffered from poor health as a result of his imprisonment in Andersonville and died a victim of diseases contracted in prison - hepatitis, serious gastric problems, bronchial and lung ailments. His cause of death was listed as consumption (tuberculosis). His apparent place of death was Lansing, Iowa, but his remains were returned to Granby and he is buried in the Center Cemetery. His name was added to the monument on the Green.

Lee was a twenty-one-year-old unmarried farmer who, like Lewis Holcomb, maintained a steady correspondence with their cousin Addie Holcomb. He would become one of the most respected members of the unit, credited with urging the prisoners at Andersonville not to sign a petition to request the federal government to restart paroles. In May 1863, Lee wrote Addie, "Soldiers are taught to anticipate nothing, but act in the capacity of a machine. They cannot act their own will, and being aware of te fact, hardly care to think of themselves." Lee died of tuberculosis at the age of thirty-five.⁴

     Elizabeth Chapin was born circa 1802; based on age at death. She married Oren H. Lee after 1846. Elizabeth Chapin died on 25 September 1881.¹

     Mary Gertrude Lee was born in 1869. She was the daughter of Richard Henry Lee and Mary Elizabeth Holcombe. Mary Gertrude Lee died on 11 May 1923.²

     Lena D. Holcombe was born in 1883.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Frederic Holcombe and Lizzie Laura Dewey. Lena D. Holcombe died in 1884; cholera infantum.¹ She was buried on 27 September 1884 at Center Cemetery, Granby, Hartford Co., CT; moved from West Granby Cemetery.²

     Infant Holcombe was born in 1885.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Frederic Holcombe and Lizzie Laura Dewey. Infant Holcombe was buried on 28 April 1885 at West Granby Cemetery, Granby, Hartford Co., CT; no stone, moved to Granby Center Cemetery.²

     Mary J. Thompson was born on 20 August 1815. She was the daughter of Dr. Moses Thompson and Elizabeth Mills. Mary J. Thompson was baptized on 31 March 1816 at Hudson, Summit Co., OH. She married John Hazeltine on 11 May 1836 at Portage Co., OH. Mary J. Thompson lived in 1850 at Hudson, Summit Co., OH. She lived in 1860 at Hudson, Summit Co., OH.

     John Hazeltine was born circa 1810 at NH. He married Mary J. Thompson, daughter of Dr. Moses Thompson and Elizabeth Mills, on 11 May 1836 at Portage Co., OH.

     Sarah Ann Thompson was born in 1818. She was the daughter of Dr. Moses Thompson and Elizabeth Mills. Sarah Ann Thompson was baptized in June 1818 at Hudson, Summit Co., OH.

     Martha Thompson was born in 1820. She was the daughter of Dr. Moses Thompson and Elizabeth Mills. Martha Thompson was baptized on 21 May 1820. She died on 17 July 1842. She died in 1845.

     Elizabeth Mills Thompson was born June 5,1822. She was the daughter of Dr. Moses Thompson and Elizabeth Mills. Elizabeth Mills Thompson was baptized on 27 April 1823. She died in 1900.

     Helen Ullmann cites the Barkhamsted Vital Records and the Barkhmasted Church Records. Susannah Mills was born on 11 February 1782 at West Simsbury (now Canton), Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Gideon Mills and Ruth Humphrey.

     Sarah Ann Mills was born on 14 February 1784 at West Simsbury (now Canton), Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Gideon Mills and Ruth Humphrey. Sarah Ann Mills married Capt. Daniel Woodruff, son of Elisha Woodruff and Anne Griswold, on 14 June 1819 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT.

     Capt. Daniel Woodruff was born on 2 November 1784. He was the son of Elisha Woodruff and Anne Griswold. Capt. Daniel Woodruff married Sarah Ann Mills, daughter of Gideon Mills and Ruth Humphrey, on 14 June 1819 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. Capt. Daniel Woodruff died on 6 September 1855 at Freedom, OH, at age 70.

     Edwin Treat Richardson died at Ravenna, Portage Co., OH. He was born on 20 June 1809 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Daniel Richardson and Susannah Mills.

     William Mills Richardson was born on 22 February 1811 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Daniel Richardson and Susannah Mills. William Mills Richardson died in October 1882 at Bloomington, McLean Co., IL, at age 71.

     Sarah Ann Richardson was born on 9 December 1813 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Daniel Richardson and Susannah Mills.

     Gideon Humphrys Richardson was born on 28 May 1815 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Daniel Richardson and Susannah Mills.

     Elizabeth Allen Richardson was also known as Elizabeth Susan Richardson. She was born on 21 June 1817 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Daniel Richardson and Susannah Mills.

     Sukey Cornelia Richardson was born on 4 September 1819 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Daniel Richardson and Susannah Mills.

     Daniel Woodruff Richardson was born on 1 May 1822 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Daniel Richardson and Susannah Mills.

     Julia Maria Richardson was born on 21 December 1823 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Daniel Richardson and Susannah Mills.

     Lucia Annet Richardson was born on 3 July 1826 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Daniel Richardson and Susannah Mills.

     Anne Griswold was born on 10 October 1746 at Wethersfield, Hartford Co., CT.

     Ruth Ann Woodruff was born on 10 August 1823. She was the daughter of Capt. Daniel Woodruff and Sarah Ann Mills.

     Daniel Richardson Woodruff was born on 18 October 1825. He was the son of Capt. Daniel Woodruff and Sarah Ann Mills. Daniel Richardson Woodruff died on 27 November 1828 at diptheria at age 3.

     Elizabeth Susan Woodruff was born on 4 April 1827. She was the daughter of Capt. Daniel Woodruff and Sarah Ann Mills. Elizabeth Susan Woodruff died on 10 December 1828 at age 1.

     Sarah Gilpin was born circa 1758. She was the daughter of Thomas Gilpin and Ann Caldwell. Sarah Gilpin married Samuel Mills, son of Rev. Gideon Mills and Elizabeth Higley, on 28 May 1778. Sarah Gilpin died on 19 October 1796 at Chester, Middlesex Co., CT. She was buried at Old Town House Hill Cemetery, Chester, Middlesex Co., CT.

     Rebecca Belden was born on 28 May 1765. She was the daughter of Col. John Belden and Rebeckah Reynolds. Rebecca Belden married Samuel Mills, son of Rev. Gideon Mills and Elizabeth Higley, on 27 February 1798. Rebecca Belden died on 19 August 1801 at childbirth, Chester, Middlesex Co., CT, at age 36. She was buried at Old Town House Hill Cemetery, Chester, Middlesex Co., CT.

     Catherine Seymour married Norman Seymour. Catherine Seymour was born on 29 August 1756. She was the daughter of Moses Seymour and Rachel Goodwin. Catherine Seymour married Samuel Mills, son of Rev. Gideon Mills and Elizabeth Higley, on 1 June 1802 at Newington Parish. Catherine Seymour died on 19 March 1814 at typhus fever at age 57.
