     Abiel Buckland Griswold was born on 27 October 1779 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 He was the son of Abiel Griswold and Huldah Pinney.¹ Abiel Buckland Griswold died on 31 March 1821 at age 41.²

     Ilai Griswold was born on 24 December 1781 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 He was the son of Abiel Griswold and Huldah Pinney.¹ Ilai Griswold died on 19 November 1828 at age 46.²

     Oregen Griswold was born on 31 October 1785 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 He was the son of Abiel Griswold and Huldah Pinney.¹ Oregen Griswold died on 28 September 1855 at age 69.²

     Abram Griswold was born on 28 November 1788 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 He was the son of Abiel Griswold and Huldah Pinney.¹ Abram Griswold died on 6 September 1865 at Gustavus, Trumbull Co., OH, at age 76.²

     Marcus Griswold was born in 1791.¹ He was the son of Abiel Griswold and Huldah Pinney.¹

     James Rogers was born on 2 March 1762 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Anthony Rogers and Zilpah Holcombe.

     Seneca Griswold was born in 1795.¹ He was the son of Abiel Griswold and Huldah Pinney.¹ Seneca Griswold died on 17 November 1798.¹

     Anthony Rogers was baptized on 27 September 1766.¹ He was the son of Anthony Rogers and Zilpah Holcombe. Anthony Rogers was buried on 30 June 1767 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Richard Butler married Mary Griswold, daughter of Elihu Griswold and Mary Wolcott.¹

     Anthony Rogers was born on 14 April 1768 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Anthony Rogers and Zilpah Holcombe. Anthony Rogers was baptized on 23 July 1769.¹ He married Lydia Ledden on 13 November 1797.² Anthony Rogers died after 1845.²

Anthony held many parish offices during his lifetime, including those of pound keeper, hogreeve, clerk of the market, and surveyor of lumber, which sho that he was both a farmer and lumberman. He was also a hunter, as Arthur Nicholson stated in 1790, and hi sname was often found among those of Indian hunters in the area. He would seem to have lived in closer contact with the local Indians than almost any other settler. He spoke the Micmac language and was the only non-Indian to be engaged as a Micmac interpreter by the Court of Quarter Sessions. He also acted as interpreter at a meetin held in 1832 between Richard McLaughlan and the members of the Indian band at Red Bank. ²

Nancy Rogers is included in the follwong list for circumstantial reasons alone. Edward and Robert are identified as sons in land documents. There are Anglican baptism records for Anthony, Elizabeth, and Matilda. There were undoubtedly other children, possibly including Mary Rogers. ²

     Elihu Griswold was born on 17 August 1756 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Matthew Griswold II and Elizabeth (?) Elihu Griswold married Mary Wolcott, daughter of Dr. Alexander Wolcott and Mary Richards, on 25 December 1776. Elihu Griswold died on 12 January 1812 at age 55.¹

     John Rogers was born on 9 August 1770 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Anthony Rogers and Zilpah Holcombe. John Rogers was baptized on 26 September 1770.¹ He married Susanna Walsh.² John Rogers died between 1819 and 1824.²

     Edward Rogers was born on 20 September 1772 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Anthony Rogers and Zilpah Holcombe. Edward Rogers was baptized on 26 September 1773.¹ He married Jane Whitney.² Edward Rogers died on 27 April 1858 at age 85.²

There is conclusive evidence that most of those named below were childlren, but Charlotte's name is included on the basis of circumstantial considerations alone. ³

     Allen Welcher was born in December 1832 at NY.¹ He married Lucretia Holcombe, daughter of Laomi Holcombe Jr. and Patience Pelton, on 30 July 1850. Allen Welcher married Lavinia Hill on 24 March 1879.²

Allen adn Lavina were enumerated in the 1900 Ontario Village, Sheldon town, Monroe Co., WI, federal census. He was 67, she was 61. The only child in the household was Ernest, 16.

     Lavinia Hill was born in December 1838 at OH.¹ She married Allen Welcher on 24 March 1879.²

     Samuel Porter was born on 14 June 1750.¹ He married Mindwell Griswold, daughter of Capt. Noah Griswold and Mindwell Phelps.¹ Samuel Porter died on 28 January 1838 at Berlin, Hartford Co., CT, at age 87.¹

     Eleanor Phelps was born say 1749.¹ She married Elijah Griswold, son of Capt. Noah Griswold and Abigail Griswold, on 10 July 1777 at Poquonock Congregational Church, Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Eleanor Phelps died on 18 August 1834.¹ She was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, Poquonock, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Roger Mills was baptized on 16 October 1768.¹ He was the son of Roger Mills and Mary Webster.¹

     Abigail Mills was also known as Nabbe Mills. She was baptized on 10 November 1771.¹ She was the daughter of Roger Mills and Abigail Griswold.¹ Abigail Mills married George Warner.¹

     George Warner married Abigail Mills, daughter of Roger Mills and Abigail Griswold.¹

     Molly Mills was born on 5 December 1773.¹ She was the daughter of Roger Mills and Abigail Griswold.¹

     Peletiah Mills was born on 17 March 1776.¹ He was the son of Roger Mills and Abigail Griswold.¹

     Sarah Thompson was born on 8 March 1725.¹ She married John Perkins.¹ Sarah Thompson died in 1762.¹

     John Perkins was born in 1751.¹ He was the son of John Perkins and Sarah Thompson.¹ John Perkins married Mary (?)¹ John Perkins died in May 1795.¹

     David Perkins was born on 1 January 1769.¹ He was the son of John Perkins and Hepzibah Griswold.¹ David Perkins married Sarah Ferrier.¹

     Sarah Ferrier married David Perkins, son of John Perkins and Hepzibah Griswold.¹

     Griswold Perkins was baptized on 15 February 1767.¹ He was the son of John Perkins and Hepzibah Griswold.¹ Griswold Perkins died in 1786.¹

     Susannah Peck married Edward Collins.¹
