     Peter Noble was born on 22 May 1734 at Sheffield, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Obadiah Noble and Mary Callender.² Peter Noble married Abigail Eggleston on 30 March 1757.³ Peter Noble died in September 1806 or October 1806 at Whitehall, NY.¹

     Abigail Eggleston was born on 22 March 1741 at perhaps Westfield, MA.¹ She married Peter Noble, son of Obadiah Noble and Mary Callender, on 30 March 1757.¹

     Obadiah Noble died probably 1786 at Sheffield, Berkshire Co., MA.¹ He was born on 19 October 1705 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Matthew Noble and Hannah Dewey.²

     Matthew Noble was born in October 1668 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Thomas Noble and Hannah Warringer.^1,2 Matthew Noble married Hannah Dewey on 10 December 1690.¹ Matthew Noble died circa 1744 at Sheffield, Berkshire Co., MA.¹

     Hannah Dewey was born on 21 February 1672.¹ She married Matthew Noble, son of Thomas Noble and Hannah Warringer, on 10 December 1690.¹ Hannah Dewey died after 9 July 1745.¹

     Thomas Noble was born in 1632 at England.² He married Hannah Warringer on 1 November 1660.³ Thomas Noble died on 20 January 1704 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.²

Thomas was the emigrant ancestor of the largest family in the United States, bearing the name of Noble. He was born as early as 1632, probably in some part of England. His exact origin and early history are involved in obscurity, the place of his birth, the names of his parents, and the year in which he came to his country, being alike unknown. He was, without doubt, here in 1653, and was the man mentioned by Drake, (History of Boston, p. 331) as admitted, on the 5th of January of that year, an inhabitant of Boston. The same year, he removed to Springfield, Mass., and opened an account at the store of John Pynchon. though not one of the founders, he may be considered as one of the early settlers of that ancient town, the first settlement having been made in 1636, only seventeen years before. A few years after removing to Springfield, he visited England, as appears from an account-book of Mr. Pynchon.

In 1664, in connection with several of his townsmen, he had liberty granted him to erect a saw-mill, on the west side of the Connecticut.

Mr. Noble, though a man of activity and industry, seems to have early fallen into a habit of living "beyond his means," and as a natural result, soon found himself in debt. To secure the sums due to Henry Smith and John Pynchon, he was obliged, in 1667, to make over to Pynchon his house in Springfield, and all his lands, except a grant towards Windsor. In the hope of improving his condition, and providing for the wants of a large and growing family, he was therefore ready to join those who were beginning a settlement at Westfield. The precise time of his removal to that place is not known. The lands there granted to him, July, 1666, on condition that he settled upon them before the last of May, 1667, having been forfeited by non-settlement, the grant was renewed, Jan. 9, 1668, and the time of the settlement extended to Nov. 10, 1668. At all events, he was there as early as Jan. 21, 1669, for at a meeting at Warronoco, (Westfield), at that date.

In his historical sketch of Westfield, Rev. Dr. Emerson Davis states, that Mr. Noble's residence in Westfield was about two and a half miles east of the present center of the town, on the farm where his son, Dea. Thomas Noble, afterwards resided, and which remained in the family until after the death, in 1791, of his great-grandson, Lieut. Stephen Noble, when it passed into the possession of Ambrose Day. There, he doubtless lived in peace and quite, until the commencement of "King Philip's" war, in 1675.

Agriculture, necessarily the main pursuit of every one in the early history of a country, was his principal employment, although while at Springfield, during the winter, he worked a portion of the time as a tailor.

At Westfield, he was so much prospered in his labors, as not only to bring up a large family of children well, but also to leave them at his death a respectable estate.⁴

     Hannah Warringer was born on 17 August 1643 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She married Thomas Noble on 1 November 1660.¹ Hannah Warringer married Deacon Medad Pomeroy, son of Eltweed Pomeroy and Margery Rockett, on 24 January 1705.² Hannah Warringer died before 12 May 1721.¹

     Ens. Matthew Noble was born on 9 September 1698 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA; according to his gravestone.¹ He was the son of Matthew Noble and Hannah Dewey. Ens. Matthew Noble married Joanna Stebbins on 31 May 1720.¹ Ens. Matthew Noble died on 8 August 1771 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 72.¹

     Joanna Stebbins was born on 4 March 1697 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She married Ens. Matthew Noble, son of Matthew Noble and Hannah Dewey, on 31 May 1720.¹ Joanna Stebbins died on 1 November 1763 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 66.¹ She was buried on 3 November 1763 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹

     Daniel Noble was born on 25 November 1700 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of James Noble and Ruth (?) Daniel Noble married Rebecca Stebbins on 15 June 1731. Daniel Noble died on 2 July 1779 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 78.¹

     Rebecca Stebbins was born on 29 June 1701.¹ She married Daniel Noble, son of James Noble and Ruth (?), on 15 June 1731. Rebecca Stebbins died on 16 January 1760 at age 58.¹

     David Noble was born on 3 March 1709 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA. He was the son of James Noble and Catharine Higley.^1,2 David Noble married Abigail Loomis, daughter of Philip Loomis and Hannah (?), on 17 May 1731.³ David Noble died on 18 February 1761 at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT, at age 51.

     Abigail Loomis was born on 30 April 1711.¹ She was the daughter of Philip Loomis and Hannah (?) Abigail Loomis married David Noble, son of James Noble and Catharine Higley, on 17 May 1731.¹ Abigail Loomis died circa 1802 at the home of her son Aaron, Pittsfield, Ostego Co., NY.¹

     James Noble was born on 1 October 1677 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Thomas Noble and Hannah Warringer. James Noble married Ruth (?) circa 1698.² James Noble married Catharine Higley, daughter of Capt. John Higley and Hannah Drake, on 24 February 1704.² James Noble died on 22 April 1712 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 34.¹

     Catharine Higley was born on 7 August 1679.¹ She was the daughter of Capt. John Higley and Hannah Drake. Catharine Higley married James Noble, son of Thomas Noble and Hannah Warringer, on 24 February 1704.¹ Catharine Higley died after 23 November 1740.¹

     Hannah Higley was born on 13 March 1677 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Capt. John Higley and Hannah Drake.

     Gov. Jonathan Trumbull was the son of Joseph Trumbull and Hannah Higley.

     Ruth (?) married James Noble, son of Thomas Noble and Hannah Warringer, circa 1698.¹ Ruth (?) died on 24 August 1702.¹

     Capt. Eli Noble was born on 16 October 1739 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of John Noble and Lydia Bush.^2,3 Capt. Eli Noble married Ruth Campbell on 27 February 1760.¹ Capt. Eli Noble died in December 1827 at Pownal, VT, at age 88.¹

     Ruth Campbell was born say 1741.¹ She married Capt. Eli Noble, son of John Noble and Lydia Bush, on 27 February 1760.¹ Ruth Campbell died on 24 December 1783.¹

     John Noble was born on 21 December 1706 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Mark Noble and Mary Marshall.² John Noble married Lydia Bush on 10 July 1735.³ John Noble married Elizabeth Remington on 28 August 1746 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA. John Noble died on 3 March 1776 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA, at age 69.¹

     Lydia Bush was born on 5 March 1711.¹ She married John Noble, son of Mark Noble and Mary Marshall, on 10 July 1735.¹ Lydia Bush died before 28 August 1746.¹

     Mark Noble was born circa 1670 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Thomas Noble and Hannah Warringer. Mark Noble married Mary Marshall in 1698.¹ Mark Noble died on 16 April 1741 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹

     Mary Marshall married Mark Noble, son of Thomas Noble and Hannah Warringer, in 1698.¹ Mary Marshall died on 12 May 1733.¹

     Dea. Jonathan Noble was born on 23 May 1721 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Dea. Thomas Noble and Elizabeth Dewey.^2,3 Dea. Jonathan Noble married Elizabeth Cole.¹ Dea. Jonathan Noble died on 11 April 1781 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 59.¹

     Elizabeth Cole was born say 1713.¹ She married Dea. Jonathan Noble, son of Dea. Thomas Noble and Elizabeth Dewey.¹ Elizabeth Cole died in 1791.¹

     Dea. Thomas Noble was born on 14 January 1666 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Thomas Noble and Hannah Warringer. Dea. Thomas Noble married Elizabeth Dewey, daughter of Thomas Dewey and Constant Hawes, on 19 December 1695.² Dea. Thomas Noble died on 29 July 1750 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 84.¹

     Elizabeth Dewey was born say 1677.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Dewey and Constant Hawes. Elizabeth Dewey married Dea. Thomas Noble, son of Thomas Noble and Hannah Warringer, on 19 December 1695.¹ Elizabeth Dewey died on 2 October 1757.¹

     Thomas Noble was born on 6 February 1725 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Thomas Noble and Sarah Root.² Thomas Noble married Susanna Cole.¹ Thomas Noble died on 21 May 1801 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 76.¹

     Susanna Cole was born circa 1726 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She married Thomas Noble, son of Thomas Noble and Sarah Root.¹ Susanna Cole died on 15 October 1806 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹

     Thomas Noble was born on 10 September 1696 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Dea. Thomas Noble and Elizabeth Dewey. Thomas Noble married Sarah Root on 1 September 1722.¹ Thomas Noble died on 18 February 1775 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 78.¹

     Sarah Root was born on 9 March 1702 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She married Thomas Noble, son of Dea. Thomas Noble and Elizabeth Dewey, on 1 September 1722.¹ Sarah Root died on 19 July 1760 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 58.¹

     Naomi Loomis was born on 14 December 1768 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of John Loomis and Silence Hayes.³ Naomi Loomis married Joel Noble, son of Mark Noble and Ann Drake, on 7 February 1791.¹ Naomi Loomis died on 15 November 1829 at Dresden, NY, at age 60.¹

     John Loomis was born on 27 December 1739 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Joshua Loomis and Abigail Langdon. John Loomis died in 1789 at VT; frozen in a storm.¹

     Mark Noble was born on 9 November 1741 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.² He was the son of Noah Noble and Sarah Barber.³ Mark Noble married Ann Drake, daughter of Abel Drake and Experience Webb.² Mark Noble died in October 1822 at Granville, Washington Co., NY, at age 80.²

     Ann Drake was baptized on 12 June 1743 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.² She was the daughter of Abel Drake and Experience Webb.³ Ann Drake married Mark Noble, son of Noah Noble and Sarah Barber.¹ Ann Drake died in May 1824 at age 80.¹

     Noah Noble was born on 23 May 1713 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Mark Noble and Mary Marshall. Noah Noble married Sarah Barber on 17 January 1737.¹ Noah Noble died circa 1781 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹

     Sarah Barber was born probably 4 dec 1715.¹ She married Noah Noble, son of Mark Noble and Mary Marshall, on 17 January 1737.¹ Sarah Barber died on 6 July 1797; of pleurisy.¹

     Hannah Stebbins was born on 22 December 1680.¹ She married Sgt. Luke Noble, son of Thomas Noble and Hannah Warringer, on 1 February 1700.¹ Hannah Stebbins died on 26 June 1705 at age 24.¹

     Almon Noble was born on 12 March 1803 at East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Horatio Noble and Matilda Bissell.² Almon Noble married Mary Ann Bartlett, daughter of Samuel Bartlett and Lydia Pinney.¹ Almon Noble married Eunice King Bartlett, daughter of Samuel Bartlett and Lydia Pinney, on 1 March 1849.¹

     Mary Ann Bartlett was born on 8 November 1806 at East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Bartlett and Lydia Pinney. Mary Ann Bartlett married Almon Noble, son of Horatio Noble and Matilda Bissell.¹ Mary Ann Bartlett died on 17 September 1848 at East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 41.¹

     Eunice King Bartlett was born on 4 April 1812 at East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Bartlett and Lydia Pinney.¹ Eunice King Bartlett married Almon Noble, son of Horatio Noble and Matilda Bissell, on 1 March 1849.¹
