Moses and his family later moved to Herkimer, N.Y. where he died about 1813. His estate was administered by Gaylord Griswold, March 31, 1813. The record mentions his wife Anna; Ichabod Brown, Philip Pratt, Huldah Alford; Erastus, Guy and Anson Griswold. The place of burial is unknown, although it is probable he and Anna were buried in the old cemetery which was obliterated for a park in Herkimer.

Richard Edwards married Mary Talcott, daughter of Lt. Col. John Talcott and Helena Wakeman, circa 1692. Richard Edwards died on 20 April 1718 at age 70.
Only after they married in 1667 did Richard learn that Elizabeth was pregnant by another man. Throughout their twenty-four years of marriage, she deserted him frequently and had affairs with other men in rebellion against Richard's dictatorial nature, and when at home was subject to fits of violent depression. On occasion, and in the presence of their children, she threatened to slit her husband's throat while he was asleep. After several years of court hearings, Richard in 1691 was finally granted one of the first divorces in New England. 2
