     Benjamin Griswold was born on 16 April 1671 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of George Griswold and Mary Holcombe. Benjamin Griswold married Elizabeth Cook, daughter of Moses Cooke and Elizabeth Clark, on 4 January 1693 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Benjamin Griswold died on 4 April 1747 at age 75.

     Elizabeth Cook was born on 25 August 1673. She was the daughter of Moses Cooke and Elizabeth Clark. Elizabeth Cook married Benjamin Griswold, son of George Griswold and Mary Holcombe, on 4 January 1693 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Perhaps it was her neice Deborah that married Samuel Buell. She was called Deborah BISSELL in the Hoskins Genealogy and in Stiles. Deborah Griswold was born on 30 May 1674 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of George Griswold and Mary Holcombe. Deborah Griswold married Thomas Moore, son of John Moore and Hannah Goffe, on 12 December 1695 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Deborah Griswold died on 19 January 1756 at age 81. She was buried at Palisado Cemetery, Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Thomas Moore was born on 25 July 1667. He was the son of John Moore and Hannah Goffe. Thomas Moore married Deborah Griswold, daughter of George Griswold and Mary Holcombe, on 12 December 1695 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Thomas Moore died on 22 January 1735 at age 67.

     Abigail Griswold was born on 31 October 1676 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of George Griswold and Mary Holcombe. Abigail Griswold died on 7 May 1682 at age 5.

     Samuel Griswold was born on 5 November 1681 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of George Griswold and Mary Holcombe. Samuel Griswold died on 1 June 1682.

     Samuel Bissell was born in 1636.³ He was the son of Capt. John Bissell and Mary Drake. Samuel Bissell married Abigail Holcombe, daughter of Thomas Holcombe and Elizabeth (?), on 11 June 1658 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.^3,4,5 Samuel Bissell married Mary Buell, daughter of William Buell and Mary Post. Samuel Bissell died on 17 May 1697 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.³

     John Bissell was born on 5 April 1659 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe. John Bissell married Abigail Filley, daughter of William Filley and Margaret (?), on 26 August 1680 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. John Bissell died before 27 January 1684 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Inventory of the estate of "John Bissel, s. of Samuel," taken 27 Jan., 1684, total £126, 15s, 2d. The legatees are Abigail, 3 1/2 years, and John 2 yrs. old. Adm. to widow, Abigail.

Son Joshua is not mentioned in the will, however, Joshua is mentioned in his uncle Jacob's will.

     Capt. John Bissell was born in 1591 at Huntington, Somersetshire, England.³ He married Mary Drake. Capt. John Bissell married Unknown (?) Capt. John Bissell died on 3 October 1677 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Mary Drake was born at England. She married Capt. John Bissell. Mary Drake died on 21 May 1641 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Abigail Bissell was born on 6 July 1661 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.⁴ She was the daughter of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe. Abigail Bissell married James Eno, son of James Eno and Anna Bidwell, on 26 December 1678 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.⁴ Abigail Bissell died on 19 April 1728 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 66.⁴

     James Eno was born on 20 October 1651 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of James Eno and Anna Bidwell. James Eno married Abigail Bissell, daughter of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe, on 26 December 1678 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.² James Eno died on 16 July 1714 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 62.²

     Jacob Bissell was born on 28 March 1664 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe. Jacob Bissell married Mary Gillett, daughter of Jonathan Gillett and Mary Kelsey, by 1689 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.² Jacob Bissell died on 1 August 1694 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 30.

     Mary Gillett was born on 1 October 1667 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Jonathan Gillett and Mary Kelsey. Mary Gillett married Jacob Bissell, son of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe, by 1689 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Mary Gillett married Sgt. Peter Buell, son of William Buell and Mary Post, on 30 June 1698 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.^2,3 Mary Gillett died on 19 August 1734 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 66.

     Mary Bissell was born on 15 September 1666 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.³ She was the daughter of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe. Mary Bissell married John Pettibone, son of John Pettibone Sr. and Sarah Eggleston, on 18 December 1690 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.⁴ Mary Bissell died after 1741.

McPherson on page 25 says Mary signed the church covenant Simsbury Ct., 1697 and died unmarried before 1698. Then on page 30 McPherson gives the marriage to John Pettibone. Bowman shows the children.

     John Pettibone was born on 15 December 1665 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of John Pettibone Sr. and Sarah Eggleston. John Pettibone married Mary Bissell, daughter of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe, on 18 December 1690 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ John Pettibone died on 18 September 1741 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 75.

     McPherson and Bissell say the wife is Mary, Bowman says Elizabeth. Samuel Bissell married Mary (?) Samuel Bissell was born on 11 January 1668 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe. Samuel Bissell died in 1697 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Mary (?) married Samuel Bissell, son of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe. Mary (?) died after 1698.

     Unmarried. Joshua Bissell was born circa 1674 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe. Joshua Bissell died after 1712.

     Elizabeth Bissell was born on 4 January 1677/78 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe. Elizabeth Bissell married Samuel Sackett, son of John Sackett and Abigail Hannum, in 1698. Elizabeth Bissell married Lt. John Root in September 1713.

     Deborah Bissell was born on 29 October 1679 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe. Deborah Bissell married Stephen Pettibone, son of John Pettibone Sr. and Sarah Eggleston, on 24 March 1703 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Deborah Bissell died in 1739.

     Stephen Pettibone was born on 3 October 1669 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of John Pettibone Sr. and Sarah Eggleston. Stephen Pettibone married Deborah Bissell, daughter of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe, on 24 March 1703 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Stephen Pettibone died in 1750 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Hannah Bissell was born on 18 September 1682 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Samuel Bissell and Abigail Holcombe. Hannah Bissell married Capt. Nathaniel Phelps, son of Lt. Timothy Phelps and Mary Griswold, on 20 March 1700 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Hannah Bissell died on 24 February 1717 at Hebron, Tolland Co., CT, at age 34.

     James Eno was born at London, England. He married Anna Bidwell on 18 August 1648 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. James Eno married Elizabeth (?) on 5 August 1658 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. James Eno married Hester Williams on 29 April 1680 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. James Eno died on 1 July 1682 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

In 1664, James Enno, with six others, presented a petition to the court, asking for church privileges and baptism for their children, The original petition is still preserved in the State Library at Hartford.

     Anna Bidwell married James Eno on 18 August 1648 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Anna Bidwell died on 7 October 1657 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Abigail Eno was born on 1 March 1686 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of James Eno and Abigail Bissell.³ Abigail Eno married Lt. Samuel Phelps, son of Lt. Timothy Phelps and Mary Griswold, on 3 June 1706 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Abigail Eno died on 25 December 1749 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 63.

     Lt. Samuel Phelps was born on 29 January 1674/75 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Lt. Timothy Phelps and Mary Griswold. Lt. Samuel Phelps married Abigail Eno, daughter of James Eno and Abigail Bissell, on 3 June 1706 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Lt. Samuel Phelps died before 1749 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Lt. Samuel Phelps was born on 5 April 1708 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Lt. Samuel Phelps and Abigail Eno. Lt. Samuel Phelps married Ruth Phelps, daughter of William Phelps and Ruth Barber, in 1731. Lt. Samuel Phelps married Damaris Gilman on 21 October 1751. Lt. Samuel Phelps died on 14 August 1754 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 46.

     Ruth Phelps was born on 23 January 1713 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of William Phelps and Ruth Barber. Ruth Phelps married Lt. Samuel Phelps, son of Lt. Samuel Phelps and Abigail Eno, in 1731. Ruth Phelps died in 1750 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT.

     Samuel Phelps was born on 15 September 1736 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT.² He was the son of Lt. Samuel Phelps and Ruth Phelps. Samuel Phelps married Ann Barber, daughter of Samuel Barber and Ann Gillett, on 17 October 1754 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT. Samuel Phelps died on 28 July 1805 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 68.²

     Ann Barber was born on 2 March 1736 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Samuel Barber and Ann Gillett. Ann Barber married Samuel Phelps, son of Lt. Samuel Phelps and Ruth Phelps, on 17 October 1754 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT. Ann Barber died on 24 May 1817 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 81.

     Uri Phelps was born on 5 July 1765 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Samuel Phelps and Ann Barber. Uri Phelps died on 25 August 1830 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 65.

     Sheldon Phelps married Mary Adams. Sheldon Phelps was born on 24 March 1777 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Uri Phelps and Abigail Tulford.

     Mary Adams married Sheldon Phelps, son of Uri Phelps and Abigail Tulford.

     Sheldon Erastus Phelps married Jane (?) Sheldon Erastus Phelps was born on 12 December 1821. He was the son of Sheldon Phelps and Mary Adams.

     Jane (?) married Sheldon Erastus Phelps, son of Sheldon Phelps and Mary Adams. Jane (?) was born in 1825 at New York.

     Willaim Samuel Nassau Hazzard was born on 8 March 1893 at Chicago, IL. He was the son of Samuel Hazzard and Rose Selena Wilson. Willaim Samuel Nassau Hazzard married Marion Eleanor Esry, daughter of Richard Alexander Esry and Ella Jane Jackson, on 23 February 1933 at Lakewood, Cleveland, OH. Willaim Samuel Nassau Hazzard died on 29 December 1967 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH, at age 74.

     Marion Eleanor Esry was born on 14 August 1897 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH. She was the daughter of Richard Alexander Esry and Ella Jane Jackson. Marion Eleanor Esry married Willaim Samuel Nassau Hazzard, son of Samuel Hazzard and Rose Selena Wilson, on 23 February 1933 at Lakewood, Cleveland, OH. Marion Eleanor Esry died on 10 August 1991 at Lakeland, Polk Co., FL, at age 93.

     Richard Alexander Esry was born on 15 June 1866 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH. He was the son of George H. Esry and Elizabeth Coleman. Richard Alexander Esry married Ella Jane Jackson, daughter of Thomas Jackson and Josephine M. Phelps, on 14 September 1893 at Columbia, MI. Richard Alexander Esry died in January 1955 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH, at age 88.

     Ella Jane Jackson was born on 18 July 1868 at Richfield, OH. She was the daughter of Thomas Jackson and Josephine M. Phelps. Ella Jane Jackson married Richard Alexander Esry, son of George H. Esry and Elizabeth Coleman, on 14 September 1893 at Columbia, MI. Ella Jane Jackson died in October 1954 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH, at age 86.

     Thomas Jackson was born in 1842 at England. He married Josephine M. Phelps, daughter of Sheldon Erastus Phelps and Jane (?), on 3 April 1866 at Summit Co., OH.

     Josephine M. Phelps was born in 1845 at Richfield Township, Summit Co., OH. She was the daughter of Sheldon Erastus Phelps and Jane (?) Josephine M. Phelps married Thomas Jackson on 3 April 1866 at Summit Co., OH.

     Perry P. Jackson was born in 1867. He was the son of Thomas Jackson and Josephine M. Phelps.

     Ray Jackson was born in 1875. He was the son of Thomas Jackson and Josephine M. Phelps.
