     Jemima Phelps was born in 1765. She was the daughter of Benjamin Phelps Jr. and Isabel Loomis. Jemima Phelps married James Eggleston, son of Edward Eggleston and Elizabeth Curtis, in 1789.

     Bowman cites the 1850 census of East Windsor and the Phelps Genealogy. Daniel Phelps was born in 1766. He was the son of Benjamin Phelps Jr. and Isabel Loomis. Daniel Phelps married Huldah Whiting, daughter of John Whiting and Sarah Foster, in 1796. Daniel Phelps died in 1850.

     Capt. Benjamin Phelps was born in 1769. He was the son of Benjamin Phelps Jr. and Isabel Loomis. Capt. Benjamin Phelps married Lydia Grant, daughter of Ambrose Grant and Hannah Mason, in 1800.

     Rebecca Leavenworth married Joseph Phelps, son of Benjamin Phelps Jr. and Isabel Loomis, in 1804.

     James Eggleston was born in 1764. He was the son of Edward Eggleston and Elizabeth Curtis. James Eggleston married Jemima Phelps, daughter of Benjamin Phelps Jr. and Isabel Loomis, in 1789.

     Huldah Whiting was born in 1768. She was the daughter of John Whiting and Sarah Foster. Huldah Whiting married Daniel Phelps, son of Benjamin Phelps Jr. and Isabel Loomis, in 1796. Huldah Whiting died in 1839.

     Lydia Grant was born in 1772. She was the daughter of Ambrose Grant and Hannah Mason. Lydia Grant married Capt. Benjamin Phelps, son of Benjamin Phelps Jr. and Isabel Loomis, in 1800. Lydia Grant died in 1859.

     Ambrose Grant was born on 14 September 1747 at Litchfield, Litchfield Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Increase Grant and Ann Hosford.² Ambrose Grant died on 7 December 1816 at Litchfield, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 69.¹
