"Sudden Death"
"On Sunday morning last, between seven and eight o'clock, Mr. Abel Holcomb, (father of I. M. Homcomb) came to a very sudden death, in this village. It appears that Mr. Holcomb was going to sit down in his chair but he sat beside it, and fell to the floor.
The shock of the fall was so great that it threw hiim in a fit, from which he did not recover, and he died about two hours afterwards. He was between 80 and 90 years of age, and in his usual health previous to the accident." "(Catskill Journal.)"
