     George Frank Humphrey married Marie Horn.¹ George Frank Humphrey was born on 6 May 1908 at NE.^1,2 He was the son of George Edward Humphrey and Julia Maybelle Bliss.¹

     Orlanda Holcombe was the daughter of Obed Holcombe and Rachel (?)¹

     Wright Caswell married Ruth Rose Marie Humphrey, daughter of George Edward Humphrey and Julia Maybelle Bliss.¹

     Caroline M. was born in 1845. She married Horatio W. Eggleston, son of Nathaniel Eggleston and Emily Hillyer. Caroline M. died in 1928.

     Laura Hubbard was born circa 1790. She was the daughter of Elijah Hubbard and Penelope Holcombe. Laura Hubbard married Joshua Kendall on 14 June 1810 at Granby First Congregational Church, Granby, Hartford Co., CT. Laura Hubbard died on 14 October 1853.

From Carol Laun: McPherson incorrectly assigns a daughter Luna" to Penelope David Goodrich; Luna is a misreading of Lura, and her name really was Laura Hubbard. The 1800 will of Elijah Hubbard names his wife Penelope, adopted son Horace, son Rodrock (Rodriac) and daughter Laura. She is called Lura in her mother’s will. Laura was born c.1790 and married Joshua Kendall 14 June 1810 in Granby’s First Congregational Church and died 14 Oct 1853, age 63. She is buried in the tiny Pratt Cemetery on Creamery Hill Road. She was buried at Pratt Cemetery, Granby, Hartford Co., CT.

     George Firsich Jr. was born on 20 June 1856 at Shelbyville, Shelby Co., IN.^1,2 He was the son of George Firsich.³ George Firsich Jr. married Catherine Kuntz on 22 October 1878 at Dearborn Co., IN.^1,4 George Firsich Jr. died on 30 August 1923 at Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co., IN, at age 67.⁵ He was buried at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Cemetery, Wadron, Shelby Co., IN.⁵

George and Catherine were enumerated in the 1900 Shelby, Shelby Co., IN, federal census. He was a farmer 43, she was 44. Children in the household were John 19, Louella 18, Elizabeth 16, Minnie 14, Edward 11, Victorena 8, Alfred 6, and Ira 4. They were again enumerated in Shelby in the 1910 federal census. He was a farmer and both of his parents were born in Germany.

     Rosemary McDowell was born circa 1912 at IN.¹ She was the daughter of Archibald Thomas McDowell and Mary Rose Marcus.¹

     Alfred G. Firsich was born on 10 October 1893 at IN.^1,2 He was the son of George Firsich Jr. and Catherine Kuntz.¹ Alfred G. Firsich died in May 1976 at Shelbyville, Shelby Co., IN, at age 82.²

     Helen C. McDowell was born in December 1916 at West Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co., IN.¹ She was the daughter of Archibald Thomas McDowell and Mary Rose Marcus.¹

     Joseph Holcombe was born in June 1868 at CT.¹ He was the son of CT Holcombe. Joseph Holcombe married Emma (?)

     Unknown (?) was born say 1863.¹ She married Thomas W. Holcombe, son of OH Holcombe, circa 1882.¹ Unknown (?) died before 1900.¹

     Wison Cary Nicholas Randolph was born in 1834. He was the son of Thomas Jefferson Randolph and Jane Hollins Nicholas. Wison Cary Nicholas Randolph died in 1907.

     Alpha (?) was born in April 1883.¹ She married Thomas W. Holcombe, son of OH Holcombe, circa 1900.¹

     Newman Hall Hawkins married Isabelle Anna Humphrey, daughter of Edward George Humphrey and Samantha Godard Holcombe, on 15 October 1901.¹

     Elizabeth N. Holcombe was born circa 1907 at OH.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas W. Holcombe and Alpha (?)¹

     Florence Holcombe was born circa 1909 at OH.² She was the daughter of Thomas W. Holcombe and Alpha (?)¹

     Meriwether Lewis Randolph was born in 1837. He was the son of Thomas Jefferson Randolph and Jane Hollins Nicholas. Meriwether Lewis Randolph died in 1871.

     Sintha Holcombe was born circa 1913 at OH.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas W. Holcombe and Alpha (?)¹

     Etta Holcombe was born circa 1914 at OH.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas W. Holcombe and Alpha (?)¹

     Elisha Williams married Harriet Holcombe, daughter of Truman Holcombe and Phebe Pike.¹

     Frank Ronald Stemp was born at Wansted, England. He married Martha Holcombe, daughter of Frederick Wainwright Holcombe and Dorothy Doolittle, on 30 September 1937. Frank Ronald Stemp died on 21 October 1985 at Anne Arundel General Hospital, MD.

F. Ronald Stemp, of Annapolis, a transportation specialist who worked around the world died of a heart attack Monday at Anne Arundel General Hospital after a brief illness.

Mr. Stemp was born in Wansted, England, and grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland. He attended Merchiston Castle College and was a graduate of the University of Edinburgh in 1927.

After serving as a railway consultant in Argentina for a time, he became president and general manager of the Bermuda Railway in 1931. He was a pilot with the Royal Air Force during World War II until leaving the service because of injuries. He then flew dignitaries from Europe to the United States during the war.

In 1942, he joined the Aluminum Company of Canada and three years later came to Baltimore as district manager for British Overseas Airways. He became an American citizen in 1947 and was sent to Brazil as a railway consultant with the Truman administration's Point-4 program to aid South America.

While living in Annapolis from 1952 to 1957, he married the former Martha J. Currier, who survives him.

In 1957 he was a transportation advisor to Taiwan for the U.S. State Department.

In 1964 he joined the International Executive Service Corps and went to West Africa to help secure business expertise for the underdeveloped countries there.

He retired in Bermuda in 1967 and returned to Annapolis.

His wife is his only survivor.

     Jacob Mitchell was the son of Experience Mitchell and Mary (?)¹ Jacob Mitchell married Susanna Pope.¹

     Martha Ann Jackson married Richard Owen Holcombe, son of Ulysses Owen Holcombe and Gertrude Alberta Stoecker, on 17 January 1939.

     Earle Wesley Ashton was born on 13 May 1905 at Bird City, KS.^1,2,3 He married Mary Belle Evelyn Humphrey, daughter of George Edward Humphrey and Julia Maybelle Bliss, on 29 December 1930.¹ Earle Wesley Ashton died on 11 November 1980 at Omaha, Douglas Co., NE, at age 75.³

     Henry Breckenridge married Elida Holcombe, daughter of Moses Holcombe and Hannah Tennant, on 4 July 1867.¹

     Forest W. Cross was born circa April 1860 at OH.¹ He was the son of Joe Cross and Ambrosia Holcombe.¹

     Judith S. Bell married Rev. George Wells, son of Chester Wells and Mary Case, on 22 October 1840.¹ Judith S. Bell died after 1850 at Pickaway, OH.¹

     Jonathan Francis Warner was born on 1 July 1872 at IN. He was the son of Jonathan T. Warner and Mary Trenkenshuk.¹ Jonathan Francis Warner was also known as Frank J. Warner. He married Katherine Zeien, daughter of Jospeh Zeien and Anna Mary Recherd, on 7 June 1905 at Marion Co., IN.² Jonathan Francis Warner died in 1917.

Frank J. and Catherine were enumerated in the 1910 Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN, federal census. He was 36 working in a machine shop, she was 34. Children in the household were Agnes 4 and Margaret 2.

Both Jonathan and Katherine died shortly after the 1910 census and the two girls went to live with their paternal aunt, Margaret Clements. They were enumerated in the 1920 Indianapolis census, Ward 13, ED 234, in the household of Margaret "Clemments" (widow of Peter, b, 1859, d. 1910, m. 1901), 1617 South Talbot Street, as Agnes 14, and Margaret 12, Clemments. Also enumerated was Peter and Margaret's son Peter C. age 17.

     Mary Sturges married Chester Wells after 18 July 1841.¹

     Obed Holcombe was also known as Obediah Holcombe. He was born circa 1797 at VT.¹ He was the son of Jedediah Holcombe II and Lydia Hosington.¹ Obed Holcombe married Rachel (?)¹

Obed and his wife, Rachel, came to Camden from Henrietta in 1834. In 1835 he bought 30 acres, the north part of the Watkins farm and the seven acres of the Frank Sigsworth, where the house stands, but deeded back the Watkins farm and sold to Burt Bayless the seven acres between the road and the east line of what Bayless then owned. After living here three years they moved to Columbus.¹

     Laura A. Voogt was born on 6 April 1864 at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH.¹ She married George S. Rodgers, son of George B. Rodgers and Julia Delphine Shaw, on 28 December 1889 at Denver, Arapahoe Co., CO.¹ Laura A. Voogt died on 3 November 1941 at Portland, Multnomah Co., OR, at age 77.¹

     Francis Cabot Lowell was born on 7 April 1775 at Newburyport, MA.¹ He was the son of John Lowell and Susanna Cabot.^2,3 Francis Cabot Lowell married Hannah Jackson on 2 November 1798 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA.¹ Francis Cabot Lowell died on 10 August 1817 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA, at age 42.¹ He was buried at Central Burial Ground, Boston Common, MA.¹
